Arab World: The Twitter Vs Facebook Debate Continues

A discussion is raging on Twitter tonight, comparing the micro-blogging site where users can post messages in 140 characters to social networking site Facebook. Here are some of the observations from Twitter users in the Middle East, who lend their voices to a topic which is trending on Twitter worldwide.

From Cairo, Amna Amer tweets:

Egyptian Wael Ghonim, who rose to fame after being arrested in the early days of the Egyptian revolution, notes:

While Egyptian architect Basem Salem, who lives in Doha, Qatar, asks:

And Ahmed Awadalla, also an Egyptian, from Cairo, notes:
