A group of Lebanese bloggers decided to draw smiles on the faces of underprivileged kids by getting them toys for Christmas. Fun(d)raising is the name of their project and it's bringing joy and fun to everyone.

According to their website:

Fun(d) Raising is a non-profit collaborative project by several young persons who got together with one wish in their hearts and it is to draw a smile on the faces of underprivileged kids who are not as fortunate as our little children, siblings and relatives. Fun(d) Raising seeks to collect toys and give them to kids of an organization in Lebanon (TBA soon) on this upcoming Christmas.

Unlike other fund-raising projects, the process of collecting funds isn't just giving out money or toys; Donors get to have fun and learn as well.

People can be involved in the project by doing one of the following:

1- Donate toys

No Money is accepted. Only new or used but with a good condition toys can be donated and they're willing to pick them from the your front door.

2- Attend the Fun Raising events.

Two events have been organized so far and the third should be coming up soon. The first one was a total gaming night at LINK – Antelias. Toys were collected during the bowling/darts/hockey gaming night.

The second event took place at RootSpace‘s office where a training session titled “WordPress for non-geeks” was held to help out non-technical bloggers to improve their skills in WP.

3- Spread the word. Virtually or live.

Help promoting for the event by spreading the word either to your friends or by grabbing one of the badges and place it in your blog/website.
