The world is talking, are you listening?

There’s a lot of “hype” around India-Pakistan friendship, much much more so from us “naive” Indians (of the Non-Muslim Kind!)!

Even as it’s very true that we share the same heritage & culture, the fact remains that Indians and Pakistanis have steadily moved far away from each other after partition, and so have for that matter even India’s Non-Muslims and Muslims.

India-Pakistan, or India’s (& the world’s) non-Muslims and Muslim divergence is rooted “firmly in religion” and NOT in territorial, water or other disputes. So even if India were to give Kashmir away to Pakistan on a platter, or solve all the water disputes in their favor, take it from me, Pakistan will NEVER look stop conspiring against India, and so India & Pakistan can NEVER EVER be friends.

Likewise, as recent events show neither can there ever be peace between the non-Muslim and Muslim worlds, unless the “handful” of true Muslim moderates take control of their religion and “overhaul” it to eject all hateful material out of their religious books/preachings.

Unfortunately that appears to be a far cry given that even highly influential people such as CNN’s Mr. Fareed Zakaria ( a former Indian like myself) who have the clout to influence public opinion are themselves busy “propagating” radical Islamic agenda, and are conspiring to bring down Western & Indian civilizations from within by “hoodwinking” Americans & Indians alike, ONLY b’coz they owe their allegiance NOT to their adapted homelands, or their country of birth……..but to their MUSLIM UMMAH!

Indians need to ask their brave servicemen or their families (like Saurab Kalia’s) who have given up their lives to understand this Pakistani enigma, and NOT the Khans & others in Bollywood, or the greedy business men in Mumbai, Delhi, or even the UNGRATEFUL Muslim multitudes in India with families on the other side, who all have a vested interest in nurturing this DUBIOUS ONE-WAY friendship!
