Dont call it canadian embassy, call it THE FIRM OF CANADA.
I would not blame it entirely on religious bigotry. Canada has given in to the facist tendencies of the Americans. Many Americans are turned away at the Canadian border for having been legally charged with something somewhere along the line of their lives. Charged, not convicted. In the facist United States it is very easy to be charged, or overcharged. They throw the book at you in order to get to plead guilty to the least of the charges, then they divvy up monetary and/or penitenciary rewards from the profits of petty and overcharged cases. These ‘offenses’ later show up unquestioned on the canadian border check computers. For these ‘charges’ many are turned away. That is just one of the many North American facist farces. America has a ‘no fly’ list that has amongst its’ members American congressmen, leaders of business and industry, 94 year olds, two year olds, etc. I am fairly sure, knowing the extent of the Canadians’ buy in to American facism, that there is likely more than simple religious biggotry in their decision against the artists. Art represents free thinking and is by its’ own nature anti-facist.
I personally despise religion and facism equally. But I do not live in fear because I can only live this life that I have, and I am surrounded by religious and facist people that hold me in contempt. I do not return the favor upon them personally. We should all be open to all and all be kind.
