I agree. I am a law and politics student in Barbados and it is very hard to discuss the benefits of the E.P.A, or the disadvantages, without knowing what it is. Barbadians are afraid of things they don’t fully understand. This is alot like when the government was contemplating making Barbados a republic. Barbadians strongly opposed not because they didn’t want to become a republic but because they did not know exactly what a republic does and what it is. To enter into an agreement with the western country given our past relationship and current attitude to each other without informing or at the very least discussing it with the public is nothing short of a thoughtless action
