I agree with Haitham. This remains the goal of the neo-conservatives, even though there has been less talk in the U.S. media of a war in the past several weeks. There are resolutions in the Senate and the Congress to authorize a naval blockade (an act of war) against Iran. The neo-conservatives are very clever. Remember, the leopard never changes his spots.
Gents, you are both anti-war, which is a great quality to possess, however, those in control in Iran do not share your qualities. I have witnessed horrific acts in Iran from government forces. The only way the regime can remain in power is with nuclear weapons as a deterrent. If you were an oppressive government, how would you prevent the US from stopping your injustices and murder on your own people?
