Consequently, negotiations with the Argentine Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino to fill the vacancy are moving forward, which has sparked all sorts of surveys [es] about who should be the new head coach. At the same time, this issue continues to generate online reactions.

Carlos V. Morales (@CarlosVictorM) from Ecuador expresses certainty about the new head coach:

Ya hay acuerdo entre Federación Colombiana y Martino. Presidente Bedoya prepara viaje a Rosario para cerrar negociación. Tata será el DT de Colombia.

There is already an agreement between the Colombian Federation and Martino. President Bedoya prepares to travel to Rosario to close the negotiation. Tata will be the Head Coach of Colombia.

Journalist Gabriel de las Casas (@gabodelascasas), presents options for the vacant post and raises the question:

Hoy NO se conocerá técnico de la selección. Opcionados, Comesaña, Gareca, El Tata Martino. ¿Cuál le gusta a usted?

Today we will NOT know who the new Head Coach of the national team will be. There are several options: Comesaña, Gareca, Tata Martino. Who do you like?

Chinita Berrío (@chinitaberrio) welcomed the resignation of the head coach and his adviser:

Bolillo y Maturana fuera…. Gracias

Bolillo and Maturana are out…. Thanks

Andrés Echeverría (@AndreloE) is one of the few people who after the acceptance of Bolillo's resignation makes a comment
in his favor:

Me hace reír, un equipo mediocre como el de #Colombia necesita un buen técnico y no un mediocre como el Tata Martino, prefiero al Bolillo.

It makes me laugh, a mediocre team as #Colombia needs a good head coach and not a mediocre one as Tata Martino, I prefer Bolillo.

Journalist Felix de Bedout (@fdbedout) criticizes the Colombian Football Federation's lack of effectiveness:

La ineptitud de la federación llevo a tiempo extra lo inevitable, a esta hora ya tendríamos técnico y al bolillo arreglando sus asuntos.

The ineptitude of the Federation took the inevitable to extra time, at this time “Bolillo” would have already taken care of his affairs and Colombia would have a head coach.
