Ukrainians Demand Justice for Beaten & Jailed #Euromaidan Protesters
The Euromaidan protests in Ukraine have entered their second month, with several hudred thousand protesters gathering in Kyiv and other cities daily. The movement began as a pro-EU demonstration mostly by young people in response to a halted Ukraine-EU agreement that would bring Ukraine significantly closer to the European Union. After the brutal beating of students and other protesters by the riot police division known as “Berkut” on the early morning of November 30, 2013, the daily rallies turned into a nation-wide anti-government protest.
Following separate cases of violence during a mass rally in Kyiv on December 1, more protesters were beaten by “Berkut” , including at least forty journalists.
A series of detentions and arrests followed. Nine seemingly random protesters were detained on the day of this particular rally, severely beaten by the police and later charged with plotting and organizing mass riots despite the almost complete absence of evidence corroborating the charges. Three more people were arrested shortly afterwards on the same charges – two journalist activists from “Dorozhnyi Control” (Road Control) initiative and a photographer from the Ukrainian city of Lviv, who took pictures of the police brutality incidents on November 30.
Helping Bankova prisoners and other victims of repressions
These people became known as the “Bankova prisoners”, named so after Bankova street near the Presidential Administration building, where the clashes with police took place on December 1, 2013. Their cases have been highly publicized and, following appeals by local and international journalists, MPs and diplomats, and mass rallies in defense of the prisoners, reportedly three of the detainees were found guilty and fined, five were released with trials pending, and three remain jailed for a two-month term under further investigation.
The video [uk] below shows a “lying picket” under the Ukrainian Public Prosecutor's Office initiated by the Democratic Alliance. Activists lie on the steps of the building forcing employees to literally step over them, just like they “step over the law”. The protesters shout “Shame on you! Shame on you!” [uk].
To support these and other activists repressed for participating in Euromaidan, Ukrainian netizens have set up a Facebook page [uk] and a special website [uk, en] dedicated to aiding the Bankova prisoners.

The role of such initiatives remains extremely important, as the pressure and number of brutal attacks on Euromaidan activists has increased exponentially. Thus, in the recent days stabbing of Kharkiv Euromaidan organizer Dmytro Pypypets, deadly beating of Kyiv Euromaidan activist Pavlo Mazurenko and brutal attack on journalist and activist Tetyana Chornovil were reported. Unfortunately, journalists remain on the forefront of these incidents and authorities seem unable or unwilling to put such practices to a halt. Amidst these events social media users have shared calls for organizing in their defense [uk], including suggestions for providing physical protection to lead media and activists.

Identifying and demanding prosecution of those guilty in beating peaceful protesters and media
After almost a month since the brutal beating of peaceful protesters in the streets of Kyiv on November 30 and December 1, the government has neither identified nor prosecuted any of the officers involved, and have just dismissed two middle-ranked related public officials in an unsuccessful attempt to diffuse unrest.
As the authorities fail to identify members of the “Berkut” riot police division and other law enforcement authorities guilty of mass beatings during Euromaidan, several initiatives appeared online that aim to do this work themselves. “Ne zabudemo” (“We won't forget”) describes itself as a “movement for the restoration of justice” [uk]. By collecting photographic and video evidence from the protests as well as accounts of witnesses through its website [uk] and social media accounts, they aim to uncover and reveal the identities of Berkut members, as well as other related policemen, public prosecutors, investigators, judges and other individuals involved in incidents of brutality and the subsequent cover up attempts.

Lustration lists and other “name and shame” initiatives
A political party and active participant of Euromaidan, the Democratic Alliance, set up a website “Ne buty skotom” (“Don't be an animal”) crowdsourcing the names and photos of policemen involved in beatings, judges and prosecutors banning peaceful rallies or prosecuting activists, as well as thugs initiating violence against Euromaidan participants and journalists, and similar cases.

“UDAR” – another opposition party active in Euromaidan and lead by a former world boxing champion Vitaliy Klychko compiled its own list of authorities that should be subjected to lustration when the government is changed. UDAR's Euromaidan Lustration List [uk] already contains over sixty names.
As the fate of the ongoing Euromaidan rallies remains uncertain, such initiatives are meant to foster exchange of information and help activists exert continuous pressure on authorities, while the protests continue and grow.

This is at a time when their IMF payments are coming up, and the Ukrainians say that they need something like 20 Billion Euros just to maintain their current solvency and not to default on their debts.
Many People do not see how they can possibly sign this Association Agreement, especially when the IMF would impose conditions like raising gas prices, drastically reducing the value of Hryvnia, which is Ukraine’s Currency.
Euro-America has Economic Experts, and Everyone knows that Ukraine is not able to implement this Association Agreement, so People are asking what is really behind this.

These days, the honest and decent voters of the European Union are closely watching Ukraine. Some of the recent developments; above all the recurrent attempts of the Western sponsored violent demonstrators to use violence against the responsible police, in their efforts at an illegal unconstitutional coup raise serious concerns. The citizens of the European Union, are especially troubled by the fact that violence and harassment is quite often perpetrated by the impressionable and easily misled youth. The EU is doing this with the encouragement of Ukraine’s opposition leaders, who are receiving training and funding by the leading countries of the EU, and these actions constitute a conspiracy by the EU on another European country. In contrast to the violent demonstrators, the Ukrainian government has displayed admirable civic maturity.
Such admirable restraint and great discipline by the Ukrainian government is to be commended, both for the government itself, and for the future of the country it represents. The democratically elected legitimate Ukrainian authorities determination to keep its handling of this uncivilized demonstration and this foreign sponsored coup attempt within the realms of legality, and its unwavering rejection of violence, except as a highly regrettable last resort, are a model for the defence of essential human rights and of democratic practice. Today, the Ukrainian demonstrations represents the Europe Union at its worst, and discerning thinkers know the EU to be barbaric. Citizens are calling on European Union governments to support the legitimate Ukrainian authorities in their efforts to put an end to the anti social and undemocratic manner in which the violent protesters ignore basic social and human norms, and act as if they are the only ones entitled to an opinion and to any rights, while they forget the multi ethnic vulnerability of Ukraine. The European Union needs to begin acting as human beings, because the EU keeps proclaiming that they are Europeans, and history shows that this is not something to be proud of, and so the European Union should cease being European, and become human.
In elaboration of a new policy towards Ukraine, the leaders of the European Union should propose to draw a distinction between the legitimate European democratic Ukrainian government who was elected by a majority of Ukrainians of European ethnicity, with those actions of the violent foreign sponsored demonstrators. This means that the legitimate and democratically elected Ukrainian authorities must be treated with a maximum of support, and a civilized EU, which I doubt is possible, but if a civilized EU were possible, then it must condemn the undemocratic and anti social actions of the violent demonstrators, who seek an illegal coup, regardless of the many adverse effects it would have on the many hard working and law abiding Ukrainians who contribute to Ukrainian society. The European Union should let the Ukrainian people of different races more fully coexist like brothers or cousins, just like they did before the vile and unwarranted meddling of the EU, because the EU have only ever made the European Union a failure by any honest standards in so many ways, and to begin being human toward Ukraine will help to build a proper European Union. The European Union in its perverseness considers that how an independent country decides its economic policies is a win for another Country, but Russia has long said it wants an arrangement where Ukraine does not have to choose between west and east, because it trades with both, but the undemocratic EU is using the opposition to call for a general strike in Ukraine to undermine the Ukrainian economy. There seems to be an agenda here and Germany, who is cunningly behind the unrest in Ukraine, could be looking to quietly win the last war against Britain and America, by inciting racial hatreds in Britain and America, by proving to the British and American people by means of current affairs that even different white races in Europe do not want to live in the same country, and so what does this say to the multi racial countries.
The things that are happening in Ukraine are planned and schemed mainly by Germany, whose Secret Agenda is to win the last war against Britain, America, and the Soviet Union in Europe, and what remains of the Soviet Union in Europe, which includes Russia.
Germany’s Secret Agenda is to cunningly use Kosovo and Ukraine to quietly win the last war against Britain, America, and Russia, and Germany wants Ukraine to join NATO, regardless of and past or present words or actions, because Germany needed to create deceptions of its real motives, so as to appear innocent, or Germany could have been on Secret Orders from Anglo-America to deceive Russia.
With Kosovo, Germany wants the Albanians to create an Independent Mono Ethnic State of Kosovo to prove to More than Enough People, that people only want their own race, because other races cannot be trusted.
With Ukraine, Germany wants to weaken Russia, and Germany wants to incite racial hatreds in Britain and America, by proving to the British and American people by means of current affairs that even different white races in Europe do not want to live in the same country, and so what does this say to the multi colored countries.
Germany knows that the Maliciously Racist Albanians, even against Any Innocent and Pure Non Albanian, who happens to be where Albanians are, and Germany knows that it is just a matter of time, before all Non Albanians are expelled from Kosovo, and not even NATO could prevent that, and Germany did this without being detected, Germany led Euro-America into that trap, and the same applies with the trap of Ukraine.

Obviously, Germany could not win against Britain, America, and Russia, or even the Rest of the World militarily, and so cunning methods had to be schemed to have Britain, America, and Russia destroy each other, or to have them destroy themselves, or to be greatly weakened, while Germany pretends to be everyone’s friend, and goes by undetected as the schemer, by claiming to only have been following orders as Anglo-America’s Puppet.

The East Germans told the West Germans that the Soviet Union would one day have to leave occupied Eastern European Countries, because the occupation was too expensive for the Soviet Union.
The workers of the Soviet Union are not German workers, and so it was just a matter of time, as History shows that many times that the weaker loses to the stronger, and the inefficient is at a disadvantage to the efficient.
NATO came into existence in 1949, and that was 2 years before the European Coal and Steel Community came onto the scene.
After some time, the European Coal and Steel Community changed its name to the European Union, and its membership has grown to 28 countries.
The Soviet Union did leave Eastern Europe, and West Germany knew that America’s promise not to expand NATO eastwards toward Russia if the Soviet Union left Eastern Europe was a lie, because America is a compulsive liar, but West Germany was only thinking of Unification with East Germany.
Britain and Germany were able to have the Euro Common Currency introduced, with 18 countries of the European Union as members of the Euro currency.

There has been a lot of talk by the European Union regarding Human Rights and Democracy.
I guess that Many People in the European Union would say that having a job is a Human Right.
What this means is that a Government would then do its best to manage the Economy, so that their Citizens can have a job.
We need to add proper Welfare Payments and Pensions, and Government Services, to having a job.
The European Union Association Agreement with Ukraine would have cost millions of Ukrainians their jobs, and it would have created Massive Unemployment significantly increased the price of gas, lowered the Payments for Pensions and Unemployment Benefits.
The Ukrainian Government did its best with regards Ukraine’s European Integration, but it could not agree to the Unfavorable Association Agreement, because it was a Massive Human Rights Violation Document in the estimation of the current Ukrainian Government.
The European Union will claim that it has the Human Right to disagree, but the Ukrainian Government, who is representing the Human Rights of its Citizens has a Human Right to disagree with the European Union.
It is now up to the European Union to Confess that it wanted, and may yet want to make Ukraine an Impoverished Colony, on which to launch WW 3 in Europe.
We saw the Evidence for this with the Illegal Coup Attempt, and the European Union does not have any Record when it comes to Honesty or Human Rights.
This can be seen by what the Nazi European Union has done to Serbia with their Physical, Cultural, and Economic Genocide of the Innocent Serbian People, and who have supported the Guilty Terrorist Croatians, and the Guilty Terrorist Albanians.

The Unemployed who have taken those jobs will not want the Association Agreement, because they want their jobs, and those who have gone on strike for Anti Democratic reasons for too long will not want the Association Agreement, because they know that it will create Massive Unemployment.
After an Overwhelming Majority of Voters know that the Association Agreement is Unfavorable for Ukraine, then they will say the Government Parties saved Ukraine, and the Traitors and the Deceived made a fuss to enrich the Opposition Political Parties.
These things may have be Debated in the Ukrainian Parliament, because Martial Law have to be Imposed, and if this is done a week before the European Parliament Elections, then it could affect how People vote in the next European Parliament Elections.
This should not be seen as a method by Ukraine to try to blackmail the European Union, because Ukraine want Good Relations will all European Countries.
I realized that I need to clarify a few of the things that I wrote ambiguously in my other comment.
We know that having a job, and a Proper Level of Unemployment Benefits and Pension Payments, along with sufficient Government Services are Human Rights.
The Irresponsible Opposition, who are the Puppets of the European Union, have said that will ask for a General Strike, because the European Union wants to overthrow a Democratically Elected Legitimate Government in Europe.
There should be no doubt by anyone that the Opposition Political Parties are taking Orders from European Union, because we saw Euro-American Politicians campaigning for an Illegal Coup alongside the Opposition Politicians.
Even if the European Union would change their minds and order their Puppets to say that they do not want a General Strike, then they will try for a General Strike, but they do not want to take the blame for this, because that would not look good for them before the European Union Parliament Elections.
Furthermore, it might cost the Opposition unnecessary votes, even from those Ukrainian voters who want the Association Agreement.
However, this puts the Opposition at a dilemma, because if they are at one time for a General Strike, and then say that a General Strike is not good economic policy, then they will have proved that they are unfit for Government, because they do not know what is good economic policy.
As I have already said, that having a job is a Human Right, and the Ukrainian Government does not want anyone to lose their jobs, because of what they believe, or for which Political Party they vote for at Elections.
However, the Country has a Human Right to do the work that it needs to do, in order to create as much Employment as possible.
Furthermore, the Unemployed and the Pensioners have the Human Right to have a Government that will create as much Employment as possible, because this allows the Government to pay Higher Rates of Unemployment Benefits and Pension Entitlements, along with have better Government Services.
I should have defined what the Most Basic Anti Democratic reasons are for going on strike for too long, and if People want to protest peacefully, then that is allowed, but they want to go on strike to wreak the Economy, then that is Anti Democratic, because it affects People’s Human Rights.
It is Anti Democratic to want anyone in a Democracy to sign something that they do not want to.
The Politicians in Ukraine are Elected at Elections to serve their Full Term under the Constitutional European Democratic Provisions.

If Ukrainian Lawyers went on Strike, then even if they lost their jobs, the Fact remains that Ukraine cannot ask for migrants to take over their jobs, because the University Courses for being Ukrainian Lawyers can only be done in Ukraine, and so those Lawyers would be reinstated even if they went on Strike for longer than the allowable time.
There are of Course some groups of Professional People who could find another job easy enough, or they may be receiving Secret Payments from the European Union, who may now, Despite the Denials; want to Secretly Print Euros, because of Concerns over Deflation in the Eurozone.

It is an Unavoidable Fact that the European Union wants Ukraine in the European Union, and if they change their mind, then Voters will say that these Unelected Eurocrats who are supported by the Non Euroskeptic European Parliament Politicians have proved that they are unfit for Government, because they do not know who is good as a Member of the European Union.
It could be that some European Countries should not be in the European Union, and that the Trilateral Negotiations between the European Union, Ukraine, and Russia are advisable, because it means that the European Union can work away from the Incompetent Mess they have made with a fellow Democratic European Country.
We know that a Sensationalist who claims to be a Journalist was recently beaten in Ukraine.
I will consider that she is a journalist and we know that the Ukrainian Police are investigating this matter, and we will have to wait patiently for their findings.
It could even be that the real place to decide matters might be at any possible trial, depending on what the Police Investigation finds.
We know that she was beaten, but by whom, and especially and for what reasons may remain a secret for some time.
The Journalist or Sensationalist has a definite Bias, and so her assumptions cannot be accepted by anyone objective.
Any journalist that has such Bias, is not a proper journalist because of that Bias.
I do not know much on this matter, but I will offer a possibility that I have not heard mentioned.
It could be that the journalist deliberately provoked the situation, because she was paid to get herself beaten up, and so she may have said bad things to the People in the other car, and then they chased her, and beat her.
It could have been that she did this for Bribe Money, or because Euro-America had some dirt on her, and was Blackmailing her.
Yes Friends, as Educated Adults, we have to be Brave, and I know that we all have sufficient Intelligence which Enables us to Understand that Humans are Humans, and that Spying is Going on in a Large Scale by Euro-America.
What this Means is that Some European Politicians, Some European Union Officials, and Some European Journalists are also Human.
They Could be Bribed, or the Cunning English may have set them up and Secretly Filmed them in Acts of Bestiality, or Pedophilia, or Group Sex, and they are now Willing or Unwilling Traitors against their Own People, and the European Community, and this is why Some of them are Anti Democratic.
If the Nazi Dictators of Euro-America can find enough European Politicians and Journalists and Activists to Bribe or to Blackmail, then they can Destabilize a Country in order to Exploit that Country, just like the European Union tried to Bankrupt Ukraine, with their Highly Unfavorable Association Agreement.
We know that a Journalist and an Activist has Regrettably been beaten, but we do Not know who is Responsible, and what is the Motive, because Not Many People would not want to go to Jail for being Filmed in Acts of Paedophilia, and so they will Follow the Lying Script of the Nazi Dictators of Euro-America, if they have been Compromised in this manner.
It looks Very Likely that it Could Easily be the Cunning Work of Euro-America to blame the Ukrainian Authorities.
If I were a Parliamentarian, then I would Propose a Law which makes it an Offence to Write any News Item in such a manner which Denies the Citizens of my Country the Most Basic of Human Rights that I mentioned in other comments, and I would Voluntarily sign a Statement.
It would Not be Compulsory, but those who would Not sign it, Might be looked Upon as Unelectable or Unsuitable to Serve their Citizens, because they did not want to Voluntarily sign that Statement.
That Statement would say: While I Deny All such Accusations regarding myself, I must Admit that it Could Be Possible that Some Politicians and Some Journalists in my Country, Could have been Bribed or Secretly Filmed in Acts of Bestiality, or Pedophilia, or Group Sex, and they are now Willing or Unwilling Traitors and Fifth Columnists against their Own People, and that I am signing this Statement Voluntarily to help Promote the Most Basic Human and Democratic Rights of All the Citizens of my Country.
We have heard that this journalist’s complaint is that some Democratically Elected Representatives have expensive homes.
The People of Ukraine should know that Communism failed as an Economic policy, and so it has been discovered that the Free Enterprise Economy is what creates jobs for the People.
We know that Ukraine was once Communist, and Foreign Investors want to be sure that the Elected Representatives of Ukraine as not Communists, but who believe in Free Enterprise, and that the best way to create jobs for everyone is not have anything against Rich People who create those jobs, and they can prove this to the Investors who create jobs for Ukrainian People by also having expensive homes, like the Opposition Politicians, and the former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko.
The issue of that journalist is really a non issue to those who know how Investment and the Markets work.
It is another example of how the Opposition are Irresponsible, and why they should not be trusted with Government.
There are many businesses who sell construction materials to build expensive homes, and many workers are employed on building expensive homes.
It could be that some Company who was selling building materials may have organized the beating of the journalist, and they could have been Euro-American Companies.
I know that a Journalist has a Great Responsibility to their Readers to be objective, and to Only write Facts, and to Only give their Genuinely Held Opinions, and this is the Journalistic Code of Ethics.
