The Team Tanzania is a TV drama series about:
[…] Ms. Wito, a dynamic civics teacher, who turns the world of 3 teenagers upside down when she challenges them with controversial questions like “Who are you”? The three 16-year olds, who have known each other all their lives. On the edge of adulthood, they are searching for their own identities while facing family and cultural pressures.

This is an interesting name for the show as there is also an infamous Facebook group called Team Tanzania. Perhaps this is a case needing some social media awareness and then adding an appropriate comma i.e. ‘The Team, Tanzania’ TV Show as opposed to The Team Tanzania TV Show, which reads that the TV show is about Team Tanzania! Initially I thought someone had dramatised some of the postings and characters from that group, now that would have been a highly entertaining show!
The show itself looks interesting, although I see funded by the usual donors. Let’s hope it doesn’t become another case of pushing a social message at the cost of an engaging story.
