Alberto Rojas says he is an “amateur urban photographer,” but the images he posts in his blog Caracas Shots look far from amateurish. He describes his blog as:
[…] a bad copy, or rather an inspiration of the blog Mumbai Paused by MS Gopal (thanks bhai), but without reach its professional level. Anyways I'll try to do the same: Capture the beauty of the simple things using either a shoot camera or my cell phone in a city full of gun shots.
With the motto “shooting cameras instead of guns,” Alberto's objective is to show the friendly side of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. His post “Flying Bags” shows children in a Caracas slum using bags in place of kites:
