The project seems to be very similar than the one by Olivier Théreaux, walking outside the stations, following the line inside and outside: Ghosts of Tokyo realized in 2003. http://ot.zoy.org/2003/Ghosts_of_Tokyo/making_of.html I bet there are plenty others too. I remember one person all doing a Yamanote line trip in one day going out of the train at each station.

Thanks for the link! Actually, I think there’s enough here for a full article that introduces art/photography projects inspired by the Yamanote Line… I’ll work on that this week.
