Bloggers and citizen artists online have been creating designs and cartoons to add a touch of art to the insistent Iranian protest movement that has risen in response the June 12 presidential election results.
As the protests in favor of an annulment continue, so does the repression by government against demonstrating citizens. Meanwhile, the world has been learning about both the slogans and the victims of the protests thanks to citizen media.

VoteFor Iran, a Netherlands-based website that publishes both citizen media and mainstream media news on the Iranian crisis, presents:
Nik Ahang Kosar, a leading online cartoonist and blogger portrayed Neda, the young woman who was shot and killed in a protest, as an angel after death, while the killer in this cartoon says, ‘It was your fault!’.

Thank you, there is so little news coming out of Iran, and my heart is with the people on the streets. I wish I could help, I wear green and talk about what is happening in Iran everywhere I go; I feel so helpless is there anything that an old woman in American can do to help.
Yes there is. In addition to what you are doing, help Americans see that the worse thing USA government could do would be to go in all heavy fisted, in actions or words. The Iranian people want our person to person support but can and want to solve this their way. Help your fellow Americans understand that President Obama is NOT being weak, indifferent or not patriotic when he takes a nuanced, well informed, respectful stance in best interest of Iran and the USA.
Don’t give up…never, never give up. So many of us in the US are with you heart and soul.
