Robb discusses Mugabe's decision not to attend SADC meeting: “So when Zambian President Mwanawasa called for an emergency meeting of SADC in Lusaka today, Mugabe couldn't be bothered to attend. Instead he is sending his Foreign Minister. (Is he the Foreign Minister? Given that Mugabe is not the President, and his party do not have control of the Parliament – the appointment of Ministers falls to Morgan Tsvangirai – so any attendance by Mugabe's rebel ‘government’ must not be recognised, and therefore, cannot represent that country or her people…)”
