Sokari shows an example of clear misrepresentation of African history: “I have been posting a series of pieces on untold African histories but as we see from these two photos, it is not just our histories that are not being told. Often when they are told they are rewritten to exclude us in some way, whether as in this case to make the statement that the ancient Egyptians could not possibly have been Black.”

My 1st comment is that there is no such place as ancient Egypt, unless u r referring Alexander, Egypt is a Greek name, prior to Alex and 336 BC, the country was called Kemet, prior to Alex, who was the 1st pharaoh of Egypt.
Calling Kemet Egypt is and was the ultimate whitening of Kemet and African history.
Secondly, there was never an African ruler of Egypt until the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus at a time when the pope was also African.
When we were recently in pressent day Egypt, we talked to some professionals at the Cairo Museum and they were surprised when we confronted them on the myth of Egypt and they confirmed that fact thatn it as not true.
