While The Cuban Triangle comments on US President George Bush's speech about democratic change in Cuba, Child of the Revolution almost “missed a big event currently under way in Havana. Felipe Perez Roque, Cuba’s Foreign Minister, states that “We are a victorious Revolution and we have won the respect of everybody.”
Regardless of US plans, Cuba will remain sovereign and continue to build its Revolution. And, yes, this Revolution and the Cuban people have won respect around the world. So much respect, that should the US attempt any invasion or major destabilization of Cuba, I would not be surprised if people come from across the globe come to Cuba’s defense, not unlike those that came from all over the world to fight on the side of the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War.
