Is the UN Economic Commission for Africa blocking a political blog? The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa(UNECA) is collaborating with the Meles government to stifle free speech. The commission's media center where international and domestic journalists get free internet access has blocked this blog. Users who tried to access it received a message which said access to viewing the site is restricted.

Perhaps Internet censorship is becoming common in most non democratic nations. The Ethiopian government which claims itself as one of the flourishing democratic states is blocking as many political sites as possible. Users used to access these sites with the help of anonimizers. Yet these pages are also hunted and blocked.
The censorship is aggravated after the so-called “Free and Fair” election of 2005. The government is accused of vote rigging. And Meles denies it. Had there been a democratic government and a free and fair election, what brought the internet censorship???
It is no surprise that the Mafia group led by Melese is doing this. He is doing much horrible things than this. What is surprising is the so called Economic Commission for Africa is collaborating with such a dictator. Well, it is an economic commissiion, and hence doesn’t want to jeopardize its economic interest under the guise of those novel letters stipulated on its charter. The economic interest is not spiring for the economic development of the countries, rather those people clear and neat on stylish suits and dwelling in the well furnished offices. For this purpose, they will do whatever they have to- collaborating with the dictator, taking orders from the neo colonizer U.S., ….
