Bahawalpur is my city. I was born there and lived there for 56 years. I love this city. This is the most peaceful city in Pakistan. Regarding the architecture I would like to say that almost all the buildings in the Bahawalpur city are the novel pieces of architectural design. All the palaces of His Highness are very beautifully designed and constructed.The buildings of Schools and colleges are also pieces of architecture.The Buildings of Bahawal Victoria Hospital and Sadiq Reading Library are also beautiful and worth seeing. The Sadiqgarh Palace at Ahmedpur East is another worth seeing design of architecture. All these show the architectural taste of the late His Highness Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V. Now it is the responsibility of the Government of Pakistan to look after these architectral heritage and maintain them.
