Global Voices authors do not write opinion pieces or first-hand citizen journalism. We report on and help make sense of conversations happening on blogs and social media all over the world, with an emphasis on voices missing from international mainstream media.
Global Voices authors aren't paid. The bulk of our reporting is done by an amazing team of international volunteers, who get to hone their skills as writers and online reporters, while learning new media techniques and gaining access to the unique Global Voices community.
