In cooperation with citizen reporter Zhou Shuguang (Zola) and other two journalists Chen Er (Doubleaf) and Guo Jiannong, Xu Zhiyong, who firstly blogged Beijing’s black jails in the end of September, went to visit one of the unlawful prisons again on Monday, attacked by a group of thugs who were allegedly hired by the authorities.

Xu introduced the background of the operation in his blog:

昨天接到一个短信，“我是河南马喜荣现在关在北京市虎坊路青年宾馆后院黑监狱里你能解救这里的二十多个人吗紧急求救”。我因为当时在上课，这两天又特别忙，就答应今天去。上午十一点多最后一次发短信确认她还在里面，决定下午四点过去。

和周曙光约好，四点在青年宾馆见面，他还约了另外两个媒体的朋友。四点一刻，我们三个来到黑监狱门口，周曙光在远处拍摄。马喜荣来到窗口要求出来，看守不让出，一边和当地驻京办联系。我们在窗外和她聊天，她说是走在王府井大街上被警察盘问，查出了上访材料被带到派出所，然后被关押到这里。越来越多的上访者聚集到窗前，这时马喜荣被看守推到里面，听到她对看守大声说，我是一个合法公民，你是什么身份，凭什么阻拦我在这里？

黑监狱实际上是一所名叫“温馨青年宾馆”的旅社，在天坛西面、陶然亭附近太平街一条很逼仄的巷子内，往来的人很少，只能容一辆车经过的地上积了许多落叶。从外面看，这座破旧的建筑和黑监狱没什么关系，但这里却关押了20多名被非法拘禁的访民，都是河南人。这座宾馆实际也是河南信访办租来，专门关押访民的地方。

到了黑监狱门口后，郭建龙和许志永二人负责与里面沟通，我在边上察看动静。经过一番口舌后，我们想要的人终于出来，与我们隔着一扇防盗门进行了简短的对话。我们今天要的人是一名五十多岁的妇女，据说还没有来得及上访就被关了进来。

后来，又有一位自称是家属、实际是截访人员的男子来到黑监狱门口敲门，但由于我们在的缘故，里面的人并没有立即给他开门。我们又与此人聊了一会，得知了一些情况。

该男子等了20多分钟才进去，我们后来又与要找的人进行了简单的对话，我不停听到她说“不就是说几句话嘛”，可以推断当时里面的人极力阻止我们的对话。

在此过程中，巷子的拐弯处、以及另外一头有3、4个彪形大汉远远张望，许志永说这就是黑监狱的打手。其中一名打手还抱着孩子经过。听zuola说，该打手称要“抱着孩子过来踹他们几脚”。然后，我们又与一名隔窗的女访民说了几句话，她自称是“自愿”到这里的。

就这样过了一个多小时，大概5点20左右，一辆牌号为京MG8490的面包车开进巷子，下来3、4个大汉，骂骂咧咧的揪住郭建龙问是干嘛的。郭说接人，一名大汉很不耐烦的说“接谁接谁”。没几句话之后，几名大汉开始动手打人，我们赶紧叫几十米外的zuola跑。这时，开始监视我们的打手也陆续过来了，一共在6、7人左右。开始在巷子另外一头监视我们的操北京口音的胖子打许志永最狠，一边打还 一边骂脏话，说“你丫不是律师嘛”。也许是因为刚来的时候主要是郭建龙和许志永与他们沟通、我基本不说话的缘故，他们没有打我，而我也有点吓蒙了，既没有逃跑，也没有动手反击，做了可耻的看客，连暴喝一声“住手”的勇气也没有。

这帮打手边打边骂，还很嚣张的说，边上就是派出所，去报警啊。大约打了5分钟后，他们终于住手了，但我们并没有离开。这个时候，一名打手指着我说，他也是一起的。但是边上的几位打手并没有动手打我。

整个过程中，许志永和郭建龙没有进行任何的还手。

坚持了一会，大约17：45左右， 我们要找的人终于在她家乡信访办官员的陪同下出来了。我赶紧和许志永、郭建龙一起往外走。在走到巷子拐弯处的时候，另外一名打人最狠的打手又冲出来，叫嚷着要开车把许志永撞死。许志永站在路中没动，我于是赶紧拉起他说人已经救出来了，我们快走吧。许志永对这帮打手说：我们还会再来的。

我自拍，我的西面是六十二中学的校门，北面是许志永他们在要人，东面是青年宾馆的侧门，有几个打手在那里，我身后是南面，也有两个人站在那里，身份不明。

下图是朝东面拍的，三个男人里有一个是抱了小孩的，三个男人是打手，骑单车买来啤酒，喝酒后打人的那个没拍到，那个人是最凶的，还掐许志永的脖子，把许志永的衬衫钮扣都揪掉一个。

私生子也是人，也有人的基本权利，特别是受教育的权利，如果没有人的基本权利，可不可以这样说，从她一出生，就注定她对社会是多余的，可以随意剥夺她的基本权利，包括生死。显然这是不可能的，可是为什么就可以剥夺她受教育的权利呢？什么社会制度？什么以人为本？什么法制国家？愤慨！！

你现在保证了她的权利，那将来谁保证其他人包括你孩子的权利，当中国人越来越多，那就会有更多无辜的人失去他的社会权力！！
孩子是没有错，那母亲的错就可以掩盖过去么？她母亲为什么不筹钱交罚款？为什么让无辜的孩子承担这一切？她这么做只是为了利用社会舆论来解决她目前遇到的问题，那么这样做对孩子的心里影响考虑过没有？9000块不是9万，应该不是那么难筹吧，自己拼命赚也不是赚不来吧，打孩子这张牌，她配做母亲么？

非婚生子,是谁也不愿意做的.尤其是妈妈,这样做,一定有外人无法想象的苦衷,单亲妈妈带孩子该是多么的无奈和辛苦啊,要承受多少的磨难啊.她们是需要帮助.非婚生也不是超生.再给她们雪上加霜,社会太冷了.

户籍制度从来就是不合理的，孩子只要生下来，就应该有他生存的权利，这是人的基本权力。难道不给他上户口这个人就不存在了吗？只能让受到不公平的人仇视这个社会，这个社会将付出更大的代价，这个社会还能和谐吗？

Up to now, Sergeant Yang's fugitive diary has been updated from July 26, the first day of the house arrest, to August 13 when he fled to Fuyang, a city in Anhui Province. Because of the massive reproductions among the blogs and BBSs, no one knows exactly where Yang published his diary or whether there is someone else who helped him do the updating work. Even so, according to 3 blogs (Links: 1, 2, 3) which many bloggers linked to, It's very likely that the diary was firstly packaged into one post and then updated in different blogs every 6 or 8 days. All the 3 blogs were established in Blogger and dressed by black style.

Although Sergent Yang's legendary and tragic experience has won most Chinese netizen's strong support and deep sympathy, an inescapable question naturally arouse before everyone concerned. Is it true? Will the story maker behind the curtain suddenly jump out and exaltedly shouted that you are fooled? To avoid that situation, some cautious netizens began to further investigate the information revealed by the diary. Surprisingly the officials mentioned do exist, and Wu Xiaohui (邬晓辉), the most important role in Yang's depiction, was even found in the official website of Huangchuan County.

The previous leadership list of Huangchuan Public Security Bureau provided by the official website of Huangchuan government. The screenshot was taken at 16:29:38 GMT, August 22， 2008 by google cache.

According to the screenshots in Da Dida's blog, it's clearly that until August 22 Yang Xiaodong (阳晓东), the name of the fugitive sergeant was still in the leadership list of Huangchuan Public Security Bureau. (Somehow the link of Google cache has been updated to August 31 now, but Baidu cache also saved a similar screenshot which can prove Yang's identity)

A report published Thursday by CCVIC has further proved Sergeant's Yang's diary, but it also discovered a totally new edition of the same story, which again made the whole thing much more complicated.

我不是医学专业人士，但是我想，如果的确存在同志基因的话，那这种规定就是合理的。
不过如果按这种逻辑推理下去……有暴力基因的、变异基因的，都更加不符合献血条件。
看他们觉得什么重要了。活下去重要，还是维持自身基因的“纯正性”重要。

近日同事献血，需填一堆调查问卷，我也看到相关问题。
其中一条是：是否有吸毒、同性恋、艾滋病史。
它们将这三者放在一起，出发点就是错误地认为这三者是相关的。
拉拉的血其实比异性恋的血更安全些。

目前的献血规定是针对所有同性恋者，包括女同性恋。
如果拉拉去献血，并在填表的时候说明自己是同性恋，也会被拒绝 - 我们听到不少这样的例子！

刚来这里做志愿者的第二天因外援血浆没到，我们几个就匆忙献血，医生做了简单血检就直接用注射器抽了，血袋也没有，更别提填表了，所以还不知道拉拉不能献血的规定，即使有也是不合理的，拉拉一样爱国，一样有颗赤子心，一样有人权，平什么受歧视？

在西方现代科学技术主导下，破坏性地震（5级以上）的预报，特别是临震预报是不可能的。这是国内外地震界主流的共识。从这个角度看，32年前的唐山地震和今天的汶川地震都是不能准确预报的。凤凰卫视“有报天天读”提到：有的报纸说唐山地震是“三分天灾，七分人祸”；“时事辩论会主持人说：如果唐山地震时不拒绝外援，不会死几十万人。这些看法不符合实际。实际情况是，如果尊重中西文化优势互补的科学家的意见，这些灾难倒是可以避免的。请参阅本人博客上转载的和发表的有关文章。

在中国，一批（1970年代）年轻的中国地震工作者学习中国传统文化的精华（包括充分利用历史文献记载和“取象比类”的方法等），取得遥遥领先国际的科研成果。例如，耿庆国根据历代(包括1956-1970年)大旱与地震关系的统计，发现“6级以上大地震的震中区，震前1-3.5年往往是旱区。旱区越大，干旱时间越长，相应的震级越高”的统计规律（公元512年-1879年中国大旱后2-3.5年,发生了7次7.5-8级大地震）。1972年耿庆国提出“旱震关系大地震中期预报方法”，根据这一规律，耿庆国预报了1975年的海城地震，特别是1976年的唐山地震。在1980年代出版了专著《中国旱震关系》（科学出版社）。这些成果触犯了地震界当权者的利益，耿庆国被调出预报队伍，去了地震报社。

今天，2008年5月12日，听到四川汶川发生7.8级强震，中国的地震科学家耿庆国欲哭无泪，心里在流血。2006年他根据旱震关系提出中期预报，近年阿坝地区将发生7级以上地震。2008年4月26日和27日在中国地球物理学会下属的“天灾预测委员会”经集体讨论,作出“在一年内（2008.5-2009.4）仍应注意兰州以南,川、甘、青交界附近可能发生6-7级地震”的预报（文字报告已报中国地震局等，4月30日密件发出），而且，耿庆国根据强磁暴组合，明确提出“阿坝地区7级以上地震的危险点在5月8日(前后10天以内)”（以上地震预报三要素均已明确）。明明是国宝，却受到当权的主流地震科学家的排斥，只能靠微薄的退休费坚持搞科研。可惜这位退休的地震科学家的话，没有起到作用。

我的感觉是满腔悲愤。什么时候耿庆国、汪成民、任振球、王迪兴等一批国宝才能不受排挤，放开手脚为振兴中华效力呢？

Under the direction of the modern science and technology of Western World, the forecast of destructive earthquake（over 5 magnitude) is impossible, especially the imminent earthquake prediction, which has been a general consensus in the seismology world. From this point of view, there is no way to well predict the Tangshan earthquake 32 years ago or today's Wenchuan earthquake. The TV program “Read News Everyday”(有报天天读）of Phoenix mentioned: some newspapers said the calamity of Tangshan earthquake is “mainly caused by human error” ; the anchor of “Debate on Current Affairs”(时事辩论会) said: if China had accepted the international aid, hundreds of thousands of people would have survived. Those opinions are not in accord with the facts. The truth is the tragedy might have been avoided if authorities had accepted the views of the scientists, who combined the research of the east and the west. Please refer to the relevant articles I copied or published in my blog.

During 1970‘s, a group of young seismologists in China had achieved great results which were well ahead of the world level by studying the essence of Chinese traditional culture(including the methods that fully make use of the historical documents and “analogy drawn from phenomena”). For example, according to the statistics of the relationship between drought and earthquake throughout the ages（including 1956-1970), Geng Qingguo discovered a law that “the epicentral region always suffered droughts 1-3.5 years before the earthquake over 6 magnitude. Besides, the larger the drought region occupied and the longer the drought lasted, the higher the corresponding magnitude would be.” (2-3.5 years after the long droughts during 512-1879AD, seven 7.5-8 magnitude earthquakes had occurred in China) In 1972, Geng Qingguo put forward a theory of “medium-term earthquake prediction based on the relationship between drought and quake”. By that law, Geng Qingguo successfully predicted the Haicheng earthquake in 1975 and especially the Tangshan earthquake in 1976. In 1980's, He published his treatise The Relationship between Drought and Earthquake in China (Science Press). However, those achievements challenged the powers in the Chinese seismology circle, so Geng Qingguo was shunted from the prediction team to an earthquake newspaper office.

Today is May 12, 2008, Chinese seismologist Geng Qingguo is suffering with tearless grief. In 2006, according to the relationship between drought and earthquake he predicted in recent years there would be a serious earthquake over 7 magnitude in Aba autonomous region. After a group discussion on April 26 and 27, 2008, Committee of Natural Hazards Prediction subordinate to Chinese Geophysical Society (CGS) reported that “a 6-7 magnitude earthquake may occur to the south of Lanzhou, around the borders of Sichuan, Gansu and Qinghai.” (the written report had been sent to the China Earthquake Administration by confidential letter on April 30). What's more, Geng Qingguo clearly indicated that “the dangerous point of an earthquake over 7 magnitude in Aba region is on May 8 (within 10 days before or later)” in accordance with the magnetic storm Combinations.（The prediction above had obviously pointed out all the three essential factors). Geng Qingguo, an undoubted national treasure, is excluded by the earthquake experts of mainstream, and can only depend on a meager pension to continue his research. The pity is what this old seismologist said didn't make any difference.

I am filled with grief and indignation. I was wondering if there will come a day when Geng Qingguo, Wang Chengmin, Ren Zhenqiu and Wangdixing such national treasure are not frozen out any more, and freely work for the rejuvenation of China.

总之，应以科学老实，实事求是的态度对待有关地震的信息，向民众讲清这些信息既不能说成是谣言，也还不足以可靠到可以公开发表的程度，相信人们是能理解的。简单粗暴的意识形态斗争式的处理方式只能适得其反，这个教训需要汲取的。

In a word, the information about the earthquake should be treated with scientific and realistic attitude. Tell the people that those information is neither rumors nor totally reliable truth. I believe people will understand that. To deal with the situation only by violent ideological confrontation can only backfire. The authorities should learn the lesson.
On the other hand, it is really inadvisable to give too much emphasis to Geng Qingguo's prediction, because before the earthquake no one knew whether his prediction was right or not.
Someone may believe that it's a case involving human life, so the authorities should have paid more attention to his prediction. However, those friends may not know there are hundreds and thousands of such kind of prediction. it's not easy for the authorities to pick the valuable out of vast information.

我觉得不是预测不出，也不是玩忽职守，而是怕负责任。如果预测的地震确实发生了，那么算是立了一功。但是更多时候可能是预测不了那么准确，责任谁来负呢？从技术专家到行政首长，谁愿意承担这个风险呢？

我们老是说西方媒体的不公正给中国人民造成了伤害，试问我们的媒体又给达赖多少公正呢？

可喜的是，中国政府正朝着正确的方向了望了。

What made me disconsolate was when Netease published the report, not a comment was visible after the news. It looks the government doesn't have courage to face the whole nation. Before that, our central government had criticized Dalai to shreds and devil, provoking a tide of battle-cry against him from our lovely people. Now our central government is going to consult with Dalai. It's really ironic.

Earlier, what annoyed me more was I had to use DL instead of Dailai when I wrote something about him, otherwise my blog would not pass the Internet police's censorship at all. In fact, I just completely retold some of Dalai's recent airing views in the foreign media, but even so, it's still very difficult to pass the censorship.

We always keep criticizing the western media's injustice which has harmed Chinese people, but how much justice have our media given Dalai?

The good thing is Chinese government is heading in the right direction.

2008年4月1日上午9：00左右，共有约1000余名身穿保安制服和20余名未佩戴警号但身着警服的一干人员，大摇大摆强行进入小区，在小区篮球场周围搭起简易围墙，并站成一排，挡住了小区各个出口，阻止业主通过。紧接着两辆大型黄色挖掘机迅速撞破了小区围墙，开进了小区篮球场开始疯狂挖掘，不到1小时，篮球场周边的树木遭连根拔起，篮球场设施和周遭围墙完全毁损，小区的美丽的一角瞬间沦为一片废墟。

由于是工作日，小区只有少数老人在家，目睹这前所未见的惊人一幕，惊骇之余只有暗自垂泪。有年轻女业主一名上午10：00左右开车回到小区，路过野蛮施工场地，刚想询问，便被上述人员强行拖出车外、抓住头发、劈头盖脸一顿毒打，随即便被拖上了一辆警车带离了现场。

当晚20：00左右，又有约40名身着警服的人员闯入小区，见人就打，扬言要给小区业主一些教训，接连打伤了5人，并抓走了3人。5位受伤的业主头面部和身体均有不同程度的挫伤，特别头面部伤口流血不止，被紧急送往医院救治.小区有位女性业主刚才在维权时被车撞伤，躺在地上，车主对伤者不闻不问，却蛮横地想打我们的其他业主，站在一旁的警察们却无动于衷，打110现在已没有任何作用，根本不出警，我们的业主一个接一个地受伤，被抓的业主也音信全无，丽水人现在只有靠自己，靠大家精诚团结才能保护自己的家园，保护自己的合法权益！才能不会让丽水人再受伤！

从事情发生至今，我们一直想取得媒体的支持，把整个事情摊在阳光底下。然而，在联系了重庆日报、重庆时报、重庆地产杂志、重庆市电视台等多家媒体后，要么得到的回音是：上面有规定，这事不能报，要么根本就杳无音讯。只有一家门户网站记者前来采访，并把采访的事实制作成了一部约7分钟的短片发布在互联网上。

小区的业主通过市长公开电话和市长空开信箱发送信息，想把事实向政府部门陈述，然而，有如石沉大海，根本就没有回音。

今天由于事出紧急，小区业主急拨110求救，110答复：开发商是在执行政府的命令。
我们不相信，我们已经安居了4年的家，会在一个上午就被人用推土机肆无忌惮地挖得满目疮痍、围墙尽毁；我们不相信，警察也会同开发商的打手站在一起，毒打手无寸铁而且完全无辜的百姓；我们不相信，身在一个民主法制的国家，守法公民居然连自身的合法财产都无法守护，仅凭政府官员的一纸批文、一笔签字就可以毫不费力的拿走！我们不相信，今天的我们还能相信谁……？

About 9:00a.m. on April 1st, 2008, there were approximately 1000 men dressed in the security guard uniforms and 20 policemen without wearing the number badges that made a forcible entry into the residential quarter, setting up temporary fences, lining up and blocking exits to prevented the residents passing through. Close behind were two large yellow diggers which immediately crushed the enclosing walls of the residential quarter and broke into the basketball court to start crazy digging. Less than 1 hour, the trees around the court were uprooted while all the basketball facilities and the walls around were totally destroyed. Part of the beautiful residential quarter was instantly falling into ruin.

Since it was the workday, only a few old residents staying at home witnessed the awfully startling scenes; besides astonishment, they could only suffer quietly. A young lady living in the residential quarter passed the barbarous construction site as she drove home at 10:00 a.m.. She was forcibly pulled out of the car, grabbed by the hair and received savage beating from those security guards when she just wanted to ask for some information. Then the lady was taken away by a police car.

In addition, 40 staff dressed in police uniforms broke into the quarter at about 20:00p.m. and beat anyone they met, threatening to give the occupants of the quarter a lesson. As a result, 5 people got wounded and another 3 were arrested. With different bruises on the body, especially the injuries to the face and head, which were bleeding badly, the 5 injured people were rushed to the hospital. Another female occupant was run down by a car just now when she protested to safeguard the rights. The driver not only left the injured lady on the road, but also intended to hurt other residents while the policemen was just standing nearby, showing no emotion. We called 110(the emergency telephone number), but they would not step in to stop the violence. We are being hurt one by one and still haven't received any news from the arrested neighbors. Now Li Shui People can only depend on ourselves; only unity in good faith can protect our home and legitimate rights and interests, and prevent us from harming again！

We have been trying to get the media's support since the incident happened, hoping that the whole thing can be widely exposed to the public. However, after contacting with Chongqing Daily, Chongqing Times, Chongqing Real Estate and Chongqing TV station, the answers were either “the authorities have ordered no one can report this” or simply no reply at all. Only one reporter from a portal website came to cover the events and make the gathering material a 7-minute short video and publish it on the Internet.

The occupants of the quarter tried to report the truth to the government through the mayor's public telephone and mail box, but it's just like a stone dropped into the sea, no response at all.

Because it's an emergency, the occupants immediately dial 110 to ask for help, but the 110 replied: the developer is executing the government's order.

We can't believe, our cozy home where we have been living for 4 years can be brazenly spoiled by the diggers over one morning, leaving a trail of destruction and completely destroyed walls; we can't believe, the policemen could stand with the developer's goons, cruelly beating the unarmed and totally innocent residents; we can't believe, in a democratic country under the rule of law, the law-abiding citizens even can't protect their own legitimate property, which can be handily snatched away by an official document! The intentional violence reported by the occupants living in Li Shui Residential quarter was promptly spread among the netizens and almost all the people were greatly shocked by the bloody scenes. Nevertheless, such negative influence which were obviously derogate from the harmonious principles, were subsequently restricted by the Internet regulators. Many BBSs canceled all the posts related to the reports about Li Shui Residential quarter or turned down new comments on the events so that the relevant posts could be rapidly out of the first page, and the only video report made by the mentioned professional journalist was removed, either. (In fact, the journalist only published the video in a personal blog) Even so, the people living in or near Li Shui residential quarter still persisted in publishing information on the situation through some relatively freer sites like ifeng, mop and daqi.com.

今天（４月２日）白天又有几个业主被抓，而且是刑警，想给业主安上袭警的罪名．昨晚的冲突就是这伙强盗设置的圈套，他们是想把业主与开发商之间冲突转变成业主与警察之间的，从而找借口抓人镇压，以掩盖官商勾结的内幕．当时发生冲突的时候明明只有业主与开发商的保安（其实就是打手），何来的公务人员？而且就算马上给这些打手换上警服（他们上次就干过），可怎么业主受伤的照片有，而现场那些狂照相的公务人员（只准他们照相，业主照相一律要收缴，不从就要被打被抓，这些照片就可看出拍摄的艰难）却没有拍到一张所谓＂公务人员＂受伤的照片，连医院的照片都没有？连证据都没有就来抓人，在直辖市竟会发生这等无法无天之事，真是黑暗。

Today(April 2) several other people are arrested by the criminal policemen who apparently planed to pin the crime of assaulting police officer on our occupants. The conflict last night is just a put-up job made by those muggers; they want to provoke the conflict between the occupants and police, so that they can find excuse to crackdown the protest to cover the inside stories that the officials are conspiring with the developer. Clearly, the occupants only had a clash with developer's security guards(thugs in fact); when did the officials engage? Even if they let those thugs put on the police uniforms (they had done it last time), why are there only pictures of the injured occupants? Why don't those officials present at that time take any pictures of the so called wounded “public servants”, even not in the hospital?(only the government officials are allowed to take pictures. Any photos taken by the residents are forced to be confiscated and anyone refuse to do so will be beaten or arrested. You may directly see how hard to take pictures through those photos above) The authorities can arrest people without any evidence; how did such lawless thing happen in a municipality? How dark it is!

1.关于伤者：从事件发生以来，小区被打伤的业主很多，包括很多年轻女性。有少数业主伤情较重，已经送往了重庆医科大学第一附属医院急诊科。据悉目前还有5人在院，他们当中2名头部外伤（皮肤撕裂及脑震荡），1名颅脑硬膜外血肿，2名胸壁外伤。据称上面打了招呼，只要不出现病情加重危及生命的，决不允许办理住院手续，只能放在急诊科留观。另有当晚自发集合来看望伤者的小区业主也遭到监控在急诊科的警察的毒打，并被强行带走了数人。由于无法探视，目前伤者情况未知。

2.关于警察和保安：自4月1日以来，每天从上午8：30到晚上22：00左右，都会有超过200人、身着警服的警员和约300人、身着保安制服的保安人员，以及数十辆警车黑压压集结在丽水菁苑小区后门施工工地一带，手拿防暴盾、皮鞭和警棍，场面颇为壮观！而且每晚都有一辆警车和少量警员通宵值班。据参与警员讲，他们并非谢家湾街道警察，而是从九龙坡各个片区召集而来的，保安是从保安公司请的，值班采取轮班制。至于来此的目的“自己也不清楚，好像主要是震慑业主以免妨碍开发商施工”。当问及他们对此事件有何看法时，回答“只知道是开发商要占用别人的绿地用来盖房子，绿地哪里有商品房赚钱？我们只是按照上面命令做事”。路人都可以看到，因为小区已经没有敢于主动站出来的业主，绝大部分警员表情都非常漠然，甚至有些无聊，坐着或是站着闲聊，部分警员正在警车内打扑克牌娱乐。

3.关于抓走的业主代表：从4月1日发生冲突至今，已有近20多名业主被刑警带走传唤。已知的有杨姓老先生、冉姓男青年、刘姓男青年、王姓女士等等。据某位业主透露，家人在被带走时自己只在电话里听到“家里有人闯进来了……”就再也没有说话，只得赶紧赶回小区调出监控录像，方知家人已经被一群人秘密抓走，手机再也无法打通，通宵都没有任何消息。直至今日上午，一户业主通过多方关系才从九龙坡区看守所得到消息：家人因为妨碍执行公务而被刑事拘留，让家人带生活用品过去但不让见面，不让打电话，还要拘留多久不清楚。更多的业主还在等待失踪者的消息。

4.关于丽水菁苑小区：自4月1日后，业主不能去关心探望受伤的邻居，一个又一个的业主被抓……据悉一些前期参与维权的业主们都害怕开发商报复，不敢回家过夜了……晚上有三组安置在高处的高亮度探照灯，明晃晃直射小区内部，有如纳粹的集中营。

1. About the injuries: Since the event happened, many occupants have been beaten, including a number of young ladies. Some people who are seriously hurt have been sent to the emergency room of Affiliated Hospital, Chongqing Medical University. It's learned that there are still 5 people receiving treatment there; 2 of them is with head injuries(skin avulsion and cerebral concussion), 1 with hematoma outside the dura mater and the other 2 with trauma of chest wall. Allegedly the authorities have issued orders on the sly that the hospital can only leave the injured occupants in the emergency room and no one should hospitalize them unless they are in danger of losing their life. Besides, the occupants who spontaneously went to visit the injuries on that night were also clobbered by the monitoring policemen and some of them were forcibly taken away. Because it's not allowed to visit the injured occupants, their conditions are still unclear.

2. About the police and security guards: Since April 1, everyday from 8:30a.m. to 22:00 p.m., there will be about 300 security guards and more than 200 policemen with riot shields, whips, batons and a dozen of police cars concentrating at the back gate of Li Shui Jing Yuan residential quarter where the construction site is located and every night there is a police car and some policemen patrolling around the quarter. According to the police officers involved, they are actually not working this area(Xiejiawan Avenue), but brought up from different parts of Jiulongpo District; and the security guards working by shifts are employed from the security company. As to why they are summoned here, the police themselves “are also not very clear. the task seems to be facing the occupants down so that the developer can build construction without any hindrance.” When we asked their thoughts on the matter, the police said, “just know the developer is going to occupy others' green area to build houses. The commodity house is much more lucrative than the green area, isn't it? We are just at the beck and call of the authorities.” Obviously, because no occupant dare step forward to protest again, most of the policemen look very indifferent, even a little bored, chatting with each other or playing cards in the cars.

3. About the arrested occupants: Since the conflict in April 1, more than 20 occupants have been arrested or cited by the police. They are old Mr. Yang, Mr. Ran, Mr. Liu, Ms. Wang and so on. One of the occupants revealed, while his family was being seized he only heard “Someone's breaking in…” on the phone and then not a word was spoken, so he hastened back to the residential quarter to check the Monitoring videos, finding his family had been secretly taken away by a group of people; and over the whole night, he couldn't get through to any of his family's cellphone. Until this morning, one of the occupants through many connections finally learned something from the detention house of Jiulongpo District: His family were arrested for obstructing the officials in the course of their duty. The occupant was allowed to bring some daily necessities to his family without meeting and calling them. No one knows how long the custody will last. Many more occupants are still waiting for the news from the missing persons.

About Li Shui Jing Yuan Residential Quarter: Since April 1, occupants are not allowed to visit the injured neighbors while more and more people are arrested…it's said afraid of the developer's retaliation, some occupants who stood forward to protect the rights during the early period dare not stay over at home… at night three searchlights set on the heights throw out powerful beams over the residential quarter, which makes the district like a Nazi concentration camp.

至于这张照片怎么出了偏差，偏差到了什么样子，看看就知道，反正不黄不暴力。

虽然是早在今年一月份的事儿，但是直到前几天事情才传开。看看网易新闻上的报道，是这么说的。

《通州时讯》一位报社领导在电话里解释了这张照片的政治事故含义：“这张照片作为图片新闻，传达大会的精神是错误的，不振奋的，难道照片想告诉读者，通州区去年的工作没做好，区长在低头认罪？”

报社领导的这一句话完美地诠释了照片的“导向性”错误。领导就是领导。

It's said that the cadre was very angry and the consequences would be severe.
Let's have a look at this poor photojournalist of Tongzhou Newsletter. He was finished as soon as our Tongzhou District warden flew into a rage.

Your action is considered as a serious negligence of duty and the case is identified as a political incident. Some persons always seek excuses for those bureaucrats' overbearing behavior, asking the public to endure all the time and once there is something wrong, they will shift the blame to the low quality of the people. They would like to say, “compared to the past 3000 years, the present China is excellent and we are living in a great era, so we must understand the rulers and not give any opposing voice.” What's more, they impute China's undemocratic conditions to the common people's poor quality.
Let's pay attention to the fact and think from the reporter's view. How should we do to comply with the journalism ethics and the political officials' requests at the same time? Anyway, the news must be based on the truth.
Why don't the bureaucrats simply put up an advertisement from now on? There is no need to use the news media for them. Can we see the reports under their order as real news? Even honestly taking photos of them would become a disaster.

Lao Humiao (老虎庙), a noted blogger and citizen journalist for his personal blog magazine–24hour, has published a series of reports on the homeless people who are living an unimaginably poor life in Beijing. Those shabby vagrants sleeping in their little box shelters are separated from the city's bustling and flourishing only by an exquisite gray wall:

The shelters of the vagrants, one by one, are some strange structures like pigpens, and each box is lived by one person. I can see thirty ones altogether, which seem to be built deliberately by some people.

尹氏，山东潍坊人，我说那是风筝之乡吧，他说做过，不多。老尹三十多岁，思维看起来很正常，甚至言语措辞有几分幽雅。我问他为什么不在家待着。他回答说：村里不给他地，没有地可种，又没有其它收入，不如出来谋生。我说是乞讨吗？他马上否定，不屑地说：我不乞讨，靠劳动生活。后来从谈话中我知道他是认为乞讨很难堪的，他的主要生活来源就是拣拾饮料瓶子。通常卖给回收站一只可得一角或者八分，视瓶子品牌的不同价钱不等。这样一天下来，最多卖到过十元钱，多的只卖四元，最少一次才卖了两元。我问他是不是可以攒点钱呢？尹说：那边卖了，这边就进了肚子，饿得跟不上趟，哪还能攒钱！

Yin Shi is a man from Weifang, Shandong Province. I asked him whether it was the town of kite. He said he used to do some, but not many. Old Yin is over thirty years old and seems very normal; actually his words are even a little tasteful. I asked why he didn't stay at hometown. He answered: his village wouldn't allot lands to him, so without farming or any other income, he chose to go outside to make a living. I said, “is it begging?” He denied immediately and said with disdain, “I don't beg and I live by working.” Later on I learned from the conversations that he thought begging was very embarrassing and his main life income was from the collection of scrap bottles which could be sold to the recycling station by 0.1 yuan or 0.08 yuan for each one. The price all depended on the brands of the bottles. In this way, each day he may earn four yuan or ten yuan at most, but once he only got two yuan a day. I asked if he could save some money. Yin said, “it is impossible to save any money because the earning is even not enough for food!”
This is Yin's home which is the most beautiful and daintiest one among the box shelters.

尹和新疆来的哈萨克族青年艾丁坐在一起，叫我拍照，说是希望把他们的事情报道出去……他也许把我当了记者。

Yin sits with Ai Ding who is a young Kazakh form Xinjiang Province and let me take photographs for them, in the hope that I can report their conditions to the public…He might think I'm a reporter.

艾丁是被人骗来北京的，那人对他说，北京有一份烤羊肉的工作需要人做，而且专门要新疆来的。他就给那人缴了二千元押金，跟随来了北京，后来走散了，他才觉察是被那人骗来的，那人也并非走散，而是躲了他。艾丁立刻变成了穷光蛋。他开始在北京四处流浪混日子。去几家餐馆都说是包吃不包住。艾丁说他会拉面，会烤羊肉，还会炒菜……
艾丁在寒风里打着颤应我要求拍了照。

Ai Ding was deceived into coming to Beijing. A man told him there was a job of roasting mutton, and the employer only wanted someone from Xinjiang, so Ai Ding handed in two thousand yuan to the man as cash pledge and followed him to Beijing. Finally, when the cheater was gone with Ai Ding's money he realized he was deceived. Ai Ding suddenly became a poor wretch and began his vagrant life. He went to many restaurants, but all of them would only provide board without lodging. Ai Ding said he could cook hand-pulled noodles, roasting mutton and some dishes…
Ai Ding shaking in the cold wind allowed me to take a picture for him.

我憋不住还是问了艾丁为什么不去寻找有关单位？请求协助。你又不是前面那几位专门以乞讨为生的。艾丁告诉我说，他也找了新疆办事处，还找了公安局。新疆办事处说工作人员是维族人的天下，哈萨克族的人他们管不了，这样的事情太多！我听了十分震惊！我又问公安局怎么说？艾丁告诉我“公安局的更不理我，他们只说叫我到西客站去睡觉，一旦被人收容了就有可能送回新疆去。”
艾丁这回又要我给他拍照，并且随手从地窝子里拿出一面纸旗儿来，是国旗。艾丁把那面在北京的凛冽寒风里尤显鲜红的国旗郑重其事地举在胸前，我就拍下了这么一张2007年岁末最后的一帧照片。

I couldn't help asking Ai Ding why he didn't go to the relevant official units to ask for help. On earth he was not like some others who lived by begging. Ai Ding told me he had been to the Xinjiang Branch Office where the official said all their staff are Uygur, so they couldn't help the Kazakh like him otherwise they would have too much work to do. I was pretty shocked after hearing that! How about the Police Station? Ai Ding said, “it's worse, the police only asked me to sleep in the Beijing West Railway Station so that the relief institution may help me return Xinjiang.
Ai Ding asked me to take photos for him again and picked up a paper flag from the ground. It's a national flag. Ai Ding seriously raised that flag which is much redder in Beijing's piercingly cold air, and I took the last picture at the end of 2007.

According to Lao Humiao, all the vagrants of Qianmen are extremely lack of basic necessities to live through the winter and some of them are old and ill or even handicapped. Fortunately, a lot of bloggers and netizens who learned the story through Lao Humiao's blog have voluntarily sent a quantity of clothes and fund to the vagrant community and some of them even visited those homeless people by themselves:

However, with the Qianmen vagrants getting more and more attention from the public and Lao Humiao's continuous reporting, the Beijing regulators finally could not keep silent to such an ugly blot which was not far away from the Tiananmen Square. On January 9, a group of officials of the relief institution and some policemen came to the Qianmen vagrant community. Lao Humiao described the situation in his blog:

9日中午前后，当最后几位前来看望部落的网友走后不久，崇文区救助站以及公安人员出现在了部落现场。他们对部落现场的流浪人员先是做了劝说：可以去救助站，在那里可以获得十日的居住条件，提供饮食，提供返乡车票。据我后来了解到，这样的条件提供政府约为每人支出二至三千元。不过现场的劝说以及看起来蛮是诱惑的条件诉求似乎只是一个过门儿，他们表现更多的则是很不耐烦。在一番程式化地向流浪人宣读处理办法后，行动就开始了。他们不由分说地拆毁了山东高密老尹的窝棚，留下了遍地狼籍。接续又拆毁了距离老尹西边百米之外的另外一个窝棚……
然而今天中午发生的事情叫我们非常困惑！既然是那样好的救助条件，为什么部落里的流浪人不愿意去呢？当老尹问到公安人员“带我去哪里”时，公安回答“给你找个吃饭的地儿！”本来还在犹豫的老尹一听那说话的强硬语气，立刻退却。当晚我去部落时老尹对我不无忧愁地说“去了还不找死？”显然老尹的顾虑是显多余了些，但又是谁给老尹以及更多个人民造成如此公安印象呢？

Around the noon of Jan. 9, soon after several netizens left the vagrant community, the officials of the Chongyang district relief institution and some policemen appeared. They firstly tried to persuade the present vagrants: It's OK to go to the relief institution where they can have 10-day free board and lodging and in the end a ticket to their hometown. Later I learned the government would pay two thousand to three thousand yuan for each person voluntarily going to the official relief institution. But on that day, the official's persuasion and the pretty attractive conditions seemed to be more like an interlude and what their behavior exposed was much impatience. After a series of formal announcement to the vagrants, they began to take actions. Allowing no arguments, the officials and the policemen tore down old Yin's box shelter, leaving a complete mess. Then they continued to break down another shelter hundreds meters away from old Yin's…
The things happening at noon really confused us! Since the relief conditions were so good, why weren't the vagrants willing to go? When old Yin asked the policeman “where do you take me to”, one of them replied, “a good place for you to eat!” Beaten by such a tough tone, old Yin who was primarily dubious about the official caring fell back right away. In that evening old Yin depressingly said to me, “I won't go there to seek death!” Obviously, his misgiving was a little unnecessary, but it was who that made such a terrible police image in old Yin's and a lot of other people's mind?

Surprisingly but also fortunately, by Lao Humiao's latest report on Qianmen vagrant community on January 17, the police or the officials did not appear again. It seems everything has been back on the track. However, the life of Qianmen vagrants is never actually going well. The young Kazakh Ai Ding has been missing for days and in the bone-chilling winter some new members have joined the Qianmen vagrant community, which is separated from the capital of China by a wall.

Today is December 8 when it's time for Nanchang University to hold job fair! Some of the nearby graduates have been streaming to the Front Lake Campus(前湖校区) of Nanchang University which owns the biggest gate of Asia! The surge of the students waiting outside the job fair hall has resulted in some incidents that a couple of girls were trampled on in the crowded! Thinking of the serious situation and employment pressure of Chinese graduates, even if there is a variety of ways to help ease the employment pressure, the expanded college students in extremely large quantities still make the measures nonsense!

The report of the 17th CPC National Congress clearly required “the employment work for the university graduates should be done well”, which has fully reflected the Central Party Committee's ardent expectation of educational development especially the progress of higher education, the great attention to the employment work for university graduates and good care for the graduate students, China's Education Minister Zhou Ji indicated in a video conference of the 2008 national graduate employment work, which was held on December 5 in Beijing. Despite Minister Zhou's confidence, the annual job fairs across China universities from north to south have been a tough struggle to each senior who is going to work after graduation next year.

The magnifying image of the new crater were massively quoted by the mainstream media in China and a lot of people including part of the critics were brought around by the effective proof, until another question persuasively raised by a netizen named “Beautiful Eyes” (美丽的眼睛) was appearing in a thread of Shanghai Astronomical Observatory online BBS:

我前两天回一个帖子时估算了一下，十来年的功夫在几百乘几百公里的月面上最可能产生的是直径米级的新撞击坑，当然不能排出km级新坑的可能性，但那应该是非常非常低概率的事件。
今天欧阳院士说出来我有点惊讶，但是图上确实很明显。刚才我又把我们的图和Google Moon仔细比了一下，发现“新撞击坑”的说法问题很大。最可能是问题出在图片拼接环节。很可能有一方把图拼叉了。

When I replied to a post the other day, I had an estimate that during ten years or so it is most likely to form a new crater meters in diameter within an area of thousands of square kilometers in the moon surface. Of course we can not get rid of the possibility of a new km-grade crater, but that should be an incident of extremely low probability.
I was a little surprised by what academician Ouyang said today, but obviously there were two craters in CNSA's photo. Just now I made a careful comparison again between our picture and Google Moon, finding out a big problem of the “new crater”. The error may be committed during the image stitching. It's highly probable that either NASA or CNSA wrongly pieced together the images.

Academician Ouyang presented in Shanghai Wenhui lecture and said a Canadian Chinese had found an ironclad proof: a new crater, proving the moon picture taken by Chang'e was real. At present, I don't suspect the authenticity of the moon image sent back by Chang'e very much, but that proof is not in complete accord with my intuition.
Part: The arrow points at the new crater which Mr. Ouyang mentioned. The diameter is about 3km.

放大一看，一下子就很可疑了：新坑的左边缘上居然还叠加了一个小坑，连续这么两件事情发生于过去2年，几乎不可能。
仔细看 Google Moon上那个所谓老坑，岂不是也在左边缘上叠着一个小坑吗？
难道欧阳院士指错了？右上方紧挨着的才是新坑？仔细看，发现不然，详见楼下。

After enlarging the different part of the two images, it becomes very suspicious right away: another smaller crater is surprisingly located on the left edge of the new crater. It's almost impossible that two heavenly bodies hit at the same spot of the moon surface just during two years.
Pay attention to the so called old crater on Google Moon. Isn't there a small crater also on the left edge?
Is academician Ouyang wrong? Is the upper-right one the new crater? Absolutely not. Get more information in the next comparison.

根据地形特征，从左向右推算（黄线），再从右向左推算（红线），结果发现走到中间错了位，嫦娥的两个坑对应的其实就是Google的一个坑。蓝线我怀疑是局部拼接线。

According to the terrain features, we first calculate from left to right (yellow lines), then from right to left (red lines), finally getting a dislocation in the middle, so the two craters shot by Chang'e are actually the same one of Google Moon. The blue mark I guess is the stitching line of that part.

The evidence further illustrates it's more like Chang'e image manipulating personnel's mistake, but not NASA.
To the south of the crater in question, there is a strip of ground which is divided into two parts in the picture taken by Chang'e probe (the red arrow pointed at). Please compared it to the landmark pointed by the yellow arrows.

忽然发现一夜之间已经新闻铺天盖地，到处都在引用新撞击坑的说法，新浪甚至给出了详图。
请坛主、版主们只要能跟欧阳院士说上话的，赶紧告诉他老人家高姿态更正错误说法争取主动。经过虎照事件网民个个火眼金睛，如果确实是错误的话，即使我不发现，终究也难逃网民法眼，那时再解释就事倍功半了。

The explanation of new crater has been overwhelmingly spread and quoted by the news media and Sina even published detailed pictures. I hope the webmasters who can contact with academician Ouyang tell him to voluntarily admit the mistake and correct it as soon as possible. Every netizen has got a pair of penetrating eyes through the fake photo of South China Tiger. As long as it's a real mistake, some netizens will definitely expose it even if I didn't discover it before. Until that time, to give a reasonable explanation will become a very tough work for the authorities.

It's absolutely a real one which just includes some mistakes. There's also no need to discuss if the Japan's lunar probe is more advanced than ours. The author (Beautiful Eyes) is fantastic. It's certainly an image stitching error of Chang'e-1 personnel. After a simple shift by Photoshop, the picture taken by Chang'e showed the same lunar surface with Google Moon.

It seems Beautiful Eyes's question to the new crater has evoked a new surge of controversy about the first moon picture photographed by Chang'e probe on China's Internet. However, the mainstream media of China still keep silent on the new question. A report titled by “Ouyang Ziyuan Refuted the suspicion that ‘the first image sent back by Chang'e-I copied the picture from US’ ” is still available in Xinhua's Chinese version website.

Honglaowai's first red song “If There Were No Communist Party, Then There Would Be No New China”

为什么各地区生活物价水平都差不多高,可工资水平拉巨这么大,最低生活老金大城市一千多可中小城市才六七佰.太不公平了.

Recently, everything is increasing in price. The prices are increasing in every day. Last week two small stuffed buns sold for 5 jiao (1 jiao=0.1RMB) and this morning the price has jumped to 7 jiao. It's said all day that the wages are going to increase. Paradoxically, what increase to us temporary employees are only consumer prices. The condition is the egg price has risen by almost 100 percent than the same time of last year, at least more than 50 percent.

In spite of the current price hike which have strongly affected Chinese people's daily life, the mainstream media in China keep quoting some economists' opinions, claiming that the situation is not as serious as people think and China is not trapped in a nationalwide inflation but a reasonable structural price rise. “The new index data of consumer price in October is not unexpected. According to the range of price rise, it's only the foodstuff especially the meat, poultry and egg prices that go up too fast and the increase rate of non-foodstuff price remains an extremely low level of 1 percent. So, the current consumer price rise is structural but not an overall inflation making people insufferable,” reported China Securities Journal, which is sponsored by Xinhua News Agency.

Some chief economists said: Although the CPI rises, the CPI at the core is still safe. That is to say though you have got breast cancer, you will not die temporarily, and by cutting the breast you may still keep alive. That is to say the horse has reached the edge of cliff, not falling yet, so temporarily we don't have to be anxious to curb the halter.

In blogchina, Cai Shenkun, who used to work in trades such as the media, real estate, finance, securities, movie & TV, etc. for many years, directly pointed out that China is faced a serious inflation that should not be covered up:

针对我国价格总水平出现大幅上涨等涉及民生的问题，无论是发改委还是统计局，都异口同声地宣称目前物价上涨不是全面通货膨胀，只是结构性上涨。让我们来回顾一下今年CPI的大致走势。5月，CPI增速首次越过3%的年初预定线，达到3.4%；6、7、8月一路由4.4%达到令人瞠目结舌的6.5％；9月份微降为6.2%，10月份再度抬头。

可以说，到今天，保守的数据已经明确告诉我们，通胀不但存在，而且已经非常严重。无视通货膨胀的严重性，其实就是无视民众的疾苦。可以毫不含糊地说，现在的物价上涨已经全方位影响百姓的生活生计了：比如，食品类价格同比涨17.6% ，其中猪肉价格上涨54.9%，连最基本的食盐价格都大升了40%。面对如此坚挺的升势，还对通胀玩弄词汇，说什么“风险”、“压力”，“结构”之类不关疼痒的话，不但不实事求是，甚至是对百姓和民生的漠视。

对于来势汹汹的通胀危机，经济学家郎咸平指出：“粮油等牵涉基本民生的支出通胀的深层原因，乃是内地腐败势力的大量存在。腐败势力为牟求私利而不择手段用公币投资，导致经济畸形过热，使国家经济出现结构性危机，最终令全体人民不得不每吃一餐都要多付百分之十几的支出来为腐败埋单。”

尽管国务院总理温家宝也对物价问题亲自过问，几度上街临市问价，宽慰民心。国家发改委也发出通知，一方面要求各地政府不得干预物价，另一方面要求市场主体不能价格垄断、联合提价。然而，面对歇斯底里的经济和社会走势，政府显然已无计可施，所能动用的政策手段似乎越来越少。

As to the overall price increasing in our country and other problems related to people's life, both NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission) and NBSC (National Bureau of Statistics of China) declared that the present rise of consumer prices is not an overall inflation, but only structural increase. Let's review the rough tendency of CPI of this year. In May, the CPI increasing rate came to 3.4%, firstly exceeding 3% which was the scheduled level at the beginning of this year; in June, July and August the rate surprisingly jumped from 4.4% to 6.5% and then slightly dropped to 6.2%. In October, the rate rose again.

We can say, until today, the conservative data has clearly told us not only does inflation exist, but has been very serious. To disregard the severity of inflation is actually a neglect of people's sufferings. Obviously, the present rise of consumer price has thoroughly affected people's life and livelihood: for example, the foodstuff prices increased by 17.6% compared with the same period of last year, while among them the price of pork went up by 54.9% and even the most basic salt had soared 40%. Being faced with such a strong uptrend, the authorities still played with vocabulary on the inflation, saying some “risks”, “pressure” and “structure” such trivial words. It's not only an action that flies in the face of facts but even an indifference to people's livelihood.

Regarding the violent surge of inflation crisis, economist Lang Xianping indicated: ” the deep reason of expenditure inflation of the basic necessities like grain, oil etc, is the existence of large amount of corruption in mainland. In order to seek private profit, the corrupt force make the investment with public money by hook or crook, causing the economy abnormally overheat and making national economy appear structural crisis. Finally, all the people have to pay more than ten percent than usual in each meal for the corruption bills.

Although Wen Jiabao, the Premier of State Council, paid his close attention to the price problems and repeatedly went to the streets and markets to inquire prices in an effort to soothe the public, and the NDRC on one hand required the local governments not to interfere with the consumer prices and on the other hand asked the market players not to monopolize or jointly lift the prices, faced with hysterical tendency of economy and society, the government has been clearly at it's wits' end and has fewer and fewer policy means to use.

Because of the soaring consumer prices, sales promotion more or less has become a hot focus in people's life. A discount activity will sometimes attract a large amount of people and even cause chaos. Blogger Fenghuang Shunǚ (means phoenix lady) expressed her concerns on a recent tragedy happening in a supermarket:

10日上午，重庆沙坪坝区家乐福商场内，发生一起因争抢特价食用油造成的踩踏伤亡事故。目前已造成3人死亡，31人受伤。有3名轻伤人员已出院回家，7名危重伤员仍在全力抢救。据悉，有关此次事故的调查取证工作也同期展开。(11月11日人民网） 重庆家乐福卖场为了促销而降底10块钱，以３９．９０元的价格卖掉原来需要50块一桶的菜油,为了这减少的10块钱,就有上千人去排队,最后演变成一场人和人的踩踏,最终酿成一场悲剧.

…… 我觉得，此次最大的问题，是暴露出来人们、尤其是下岗、待业、退休人员对物价上涨过快表现出的强烈反弹，因为他们收入不高，在其他人眼睛里不起眼的十块钱，连一包好烟都买不起，但对他们来说，就是一家人的两顿饭，或者是几斤大米，多少个馒头。最近物价涨的太快了，蔬菜、猪肉、食油轮番涨，老百姓心理承受有了压力，为了不至于让自己一家人生活水平下降太大，这些人只好去排队，去挤，没想到，有的人为此而付出生命。这真是悲剧！

重庆家乐福踩死人的恶性事件，是给政府和管理部门敲的警钟，仅仅是为了区区１０块钱，就出现抢购，拥挤和踩踏失去了好几个人的生命，并踩伤了那么多人，如果物价继续上涨，那么不知道还为了抢购什么东西再踩到人呢！这物价上涨的速度已经超过了群众的基本生活承受力，也超过了群众的心理承受力，对人们心理产生了压力甚至恐慌，这一点才是我们需要认真注意的问题。

On the morning of November 10, 3 persons died and 31 injured when people thronged Carrefour supermarket to grab a discounted rapeseed oil in Sha Pingba district, Chong Qing. There are 3 slightly injured people who have already left hospital and go home. 7 severely injured are still under emergency rescue. Allegedly, the related investigation has started at the same time. (November 11 People.com) For sales promotion, Chongqing Carrefour supermarket sold a kind of rapeseed oil which valued at 50RMB per barrel by 39.90RMB, cutting 10RMB. For the reducing 10RMB, more than one thousand people went to purchase the oil and then the shopping rush caused chaos, finally becoming a tragedy.

…I think, the greatest lesson exposed in this accident is people, especially those laid-off, unemployed or retired workers had given a strong reaction to the spike prices. In other people’s eyes, ten yuan is not a big deal which even can not buy a packet of good cigarettes, but to those who have a low income, ten yuan means two meals for a family, amounts of rice or a number of steamed buns. Recently, the consumer prices are rising too fast while vegetables, pork and cooking oil are increasing in relays, which definitely makes the ordinary people bear pressures. To maintain the family’s living standard, those people have to stand in line and rush to the crowd, but unexpectedly, someone died for this. It’s a tragedy!

The malignant accident in Chongqing Carrefour is a warning for the government and administrative department. Just 10RMB could cause panic buying, crowd and chaos which made some persons lose the life and a group of people injured. If the prices continue rising, I don’t know how many people will be hurt in the shopping rush! The increasing rate of consumer price has been beyond people’s basic bearing capacity of living and psychology, causing pressures and even scare. That is a problem for us to seriously deal with.
