has immersed herself in journailsm work when she was 19 years old. Based in Cambodia, she freelances for Agence France Presse, the Phnom Penh Post and some international media publications. When she doesn't write for newspaper, she blogs at www.blueladyblog.com. Besides journalism, she is also a communication rep of Kon Khmer Kon Khmer, a youth organization working to promote youth-produced Khmer films. A community event organizer, Kounila has co-oganized www.filmcampkh.org, http://2012.blogfest.asia and a few more events. Attending workshops on journalism workshops and blogging conferences worldwide, Kounila has a strong interest in new media and travels.
