Originally from Cork, Ireland, I now live in Barcelona, Spain. My degree was in Biochemistry and I have a PhD in Anatomy/Neuroscience but I now work as a freelance editor and translator (Spanish to English). Apart from science, my interests include politics, human rights and environmental issues, as well as music and film and tv.
