I'm Global Voices' executive director. Prior to working with GV, I spent 10 years working in media development in the former Soviet Union and Asia, supporting and training journalists and working on media co-productions. Most of that time I was with Internews. I'm also a photographer, and have worked and traveled in more than 60 countries. I speak Russian, manage in German, have forgotten Slovak and Czech, and can make it home in Thai.
