Huyen Chip

A full time traveler and freelance writer, Huyen Chip is on a round the world trip which she started in May 2010 while hosting a column on Tien Phong, one of the most prestigious newspapers in Vietnam. She blogs about her trip at http://travel.huyenchip.com and http://facebook.com/travelandwrite.

An eminent blogger in the Vietnamese Tech Blogsophere, Chip was one of the pioneers in bringing technology of Web 2.0 to the Vietnam community when she co-organized BarCamp Saigon, Cloud Computing Conference, Tweetups, and many other hi-tech events. Focusing on community and product-design, Chip has worked for a number of Internet companies in Vietnam and Malaysia.

Chip is also the founder of Free Hugs Vietnam, a youth volunteer organization with more than 500 members operating in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
