Haitham Sabbah is a Jordanian (with roots from Palestine), born at Kuwait on 1969. I am an Electronics & Communication Engineer, and work in a managerial position in one of the leading Telecommunication companies at the M.E.

At the moment I live in Bahrain, and I like the country and it's people. I traveled around most of the countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Founder of many Arab related blogging projects as well community blog like the Palestine Blogs Aggregator.

Syria

United Arab Emirates

If you have spiky hair and intend to visit Dubai, read this first: “One of my friend's cousins was recently pulled aside by Dubai Police at Mall of the Emirates. He had a spiky hair style. They asked him to wash his hairstyle out, he told them that he wasn’t going to and they took him to the police station, filled out an incident form and sent him home. If he is caught again he will be fined / arrested and I can only assume he will have a criminal record over a hair style,” samuraisam said.

Lebanon

United Arab Emirates

Egypt

Freedom for Egyptians reports that Miss Egypt Meriam George was selected among the top 8 in Miss Earth pageant, held recently in Manila. Meriam was competing with another 84 contestants from all over the world. The Miss Earth contest promotes environmental preservation and contestants are called “beauties for a cause.”

Lebanon

Mustapha says that various eyewitnesses informed him that tens of thousands of protesters have filled the parking lot of the Tripoli International Fair (an area of around 20,000 square meters) in a show of support for the government. The witnesses described a huge forest of Lebanese flags and loud displays of fireworks and festive gun shots.

Kuwait
