When I am not a GVer, I am an EFL teacher in Guadeloupe (where I am from).
I am deeply interested in social studies (gender, education, human rights) and the history and culture of people of African descent in the Americas.

Guadeloupe, Martinique: From dry season to drought
As some posts on GV have shown recently [Eng], the Caribbean has been going through a severe drought for the past few weeks. In the French West Indies, bloggers react to this natural disaster which influences their everyday life and affects even politics.
