Hi. I'm Chippla Vandu, a Nigerian and currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. I author the blog “Chippla's Weblog – Thoughts on Issues”, where I write on events and ideas spanning economic, social, political and cultural realms across the globe particularly focusing on Africa. I see blogging as a tool which fosters the exchange of ideas among people of different cultures. I have a deep interest in the use of education as a means of empowering people and improving their quality of life.
