On the second day of the Saudi led military intervention in Yemen, Yemeni health officials announced that the civilian death toll reached 39 people. This number will likely continue to increase given the urban density of the targeted areas.

All major international and regional news agencies are reporting on this war. However, we are looking at Yemeni journalists, bloggers and activists tweeting and writings about the attacks, their state of mind and that of those around them.

Journalist Nasser Arrabyee tweeted about the civilian death and injury toll caused by the air strikes:

Noon Arabia, co-founder of Support Yemen, expressed over and over again her concern regarding the bloodshed & the destruction that the Saudi lead military intervention will cause:

Mohammed Al-Asaadi in his tweets describes the non-stop bombing in and around Sana'a and how the sound of Friday prayers is mixing with the noise of anti-aircraft missiles:

The sound of Friday prayer sermons is filling the town
And the sound of anti-aircraft missiles is every where
May Allah avenge those who want to destroy and divide Yemen

He adds:

From the number and power of the explosions that we hear, you feel that there will be nothing left of Sanaa.
Yemen is the victim of ignorance and hatred

Hisham Al Omeisy tweeted about the number of civilian casualties from an unexploded shell in Sana'a

He also described the general psychological state of his surrounding, fear and exhaustion.

Similar to Hisham Al-Omeisy, journalist Mared AlWard tweets about the state of fear among the citizens due to the non stop and extremely heavy bombing of Sana'a

Today the sounds of explosions did not stop until the dawn prayers in air strikes which were more violent than the first night. Terror is shaking the homes and people are afraid
