Waiting for the New King in Spain

Categories: Western Europe, Spain, Citizen Media, Politics

Elisa Rodríguez from ISIS 3.0 writes [1] [es] about the abdication by King Juan Carlos of Spain [2] and she says that in spite of the demands of a Republic on Twitter and on the streets, there will be a new king:

[…] everything seems to indicate that in no time we will have a new king, Felipe VI. Until now Prnce of Asturias and married to an Asturian lady (we have to fy the flag…). Besides, as Sabina already said in one of his songs: “so blond, so fine, so stiff, so muscly…”. We lose a an apparently Real Madrid fan to acquire an Atletico de Madrid supporter. Well, what else do we all want? If we are going to pay them with our taxes, may everything go well for him so Spain. This will make my generation go through the first coronation in our country.
