Categories: Western Europe, Spain, Citizen Media, Elections, Politics

On the blog Recuerdos de Pandora, Milhaud carries out [1] [es] a maths exercise and takes the results of European election [2] in Spain to a legislative election, and the analyses that data with some interesting results:

  • Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party, or PSOE, loses seats, but the People's Party, or PP, ends up impressively dismantled. Even so, between the two of them hold more than two thirds of the House.
  • Although the constituencies harm the minority national parties, United Left, Podemos and Union, Progress and Democracy would be important parlamentary groups.
