- Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party, or PSOE, loses seats, but the People's Party, or PP, ends up impressively dismantled. Even so, between the two of them hold more than two thirds of the House.
- Although the constituencies harm the minority national parties, United Left, Podemos and Union, Progress and Democracy would be important parlamentary groups.
