Colombia: Three Weeks Away From a New Election

Categories: Latin America, Colombia, Citizen Media, Elections, Politics

Madame Web writes [1] [es] on her blog La Lógica de mi Papá about the time left for the second round of presidential election in Colombia [2]:

We are three weeks away for the 60% who decided not to vote gets convinced of voting… We have also three weeks for the former-president-now-elect-senator goes ahead with his campaign… Three weeks for president candidate to get on it and makes something to prevent Zuluaga from winning… as there are not that many options: it's one or another… only one is just less bad that the other one.

She ends up encouraging citizens to vote:

And don't forget to vote on this second round… it doesn't matter if Colombia national football team has a game on the eve [on Brazil 2014 Football World Cup] and that election day and Father's Day are on the same date… don't be lazy and get up from your bed, it's free, exercise your right to choose and to be chosen. at the same time, you help with the decision of what will happen the next four years.
