A Jordanian Member of Parliament opened fire [2] on another MP while Parliament was in session today. No one was injured in the fiasco – a notch up from previous incidents where MPs threw shoes and hurled water bottles at each other.

Palestinian journalist Daoud Kuttab shares a video of the shooting, which is said to have happened in a hall outside, while parliament was in session today. The sound of the shots being fired from an Ak-47 is clear in the video:
