170 indigenous people returned to occupy [2] [pt] the construction site of the Belo Monte dam [3] [pt] this week. They demand the Brazilian government to suspend the construction of hydroelectric power plants in the Amazon region as well as complain about the government lack of willingness to negotiate over their land rights.
