First Dead Pigs, Now Dead People

Following the news stories of dead pigs, Beijing Cream highlights a news story on the fact that dead human bodies are regularly found in China Rivers.

The government of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province, announced on March 28 that “around 100 bodies on average are dredged from the river in the city every year…”

  • Eh, you should check the original source here: it’s Gordon Chang and we should not take him too serious. Even when the figure is true (counts started far into last century), and how gruesome it might sound, the number is actually pretty low compared to the total number of people living next to the river.

    • Its true, I did a story on a while back with a video on UTUBE !
      I have been to China two times with stays, In the mountains or hills the old also wander to die, ..family or people find them and place stones over them where they laid down to die ! Some ans like little shrines, normally very beautiful where the go !
