Jolome News notes that the International Federation of Journalists has denounced the sentencing of Ms. Berthe Cakpossa to three months in prison and a fine of 500.000 francs CFA (the equivalent of $1,000 US) for insulting Boni Yayi, the Head of State. Ms. Cakpossa is the director of a private television chain, Channel 3. The channel broadcast Mr. Lionel Agbo's press conference, who was a former technical advisor to the Head of State. According to the new education trends, children should not be educated in a competitive environment”. As part of his analysis, he argues:

The idea is to set up a collaborative environment, where there is compassion, mutual collaboration and other very important values, no doubt about it, but [these values] are not actually related to our daily reality.

Hossein Derakhshan, a jailed Iranian blogger, wrote a letter to President Ahmadinejad and advised him to watch The Godfather movie and learns lessons from it. The blogger said Ahmadinejad had a “thirst to serve people but now it seems he has thirst for power”.
