Ilkhom Theater [1], perhaps the only genuinely independent theater in Uzbekistan, has staged Henrik Ibsen [2]‘s well-known 1881 play Ghosts [3]. As Sanjar writes [4] [ru] on NewEurasia.net, the staging is a multicultural effort:
