“The Slovenian Uprising”

Sleeping With Pengovsky comments on Slovenia's presidential election (GV text is here) and on the protest movement – “which appears to be totally decentralised and operating via Facebook”:

[...] At the moment protests in Slovenia are directed against many different targets. Mayor Kangler, Mayor Janković, prime minister Janša, interior minister Gorenak, the failed industrial and construction tycoons, the banksters, even the president-elect Pahor already found his way to the “Gotof je” (He’s Done With) posters. Amila Bosnae translates an “open letter by a [Slovenian] policeman expressing his anger at the ruling elites and support with his fellow citizens”:

[...] I have written this letter for the sake of all of us regular people. I will lower my shield, I will take off my helmet, I will ignore the order, because I am one of you, the people!

And as for the government: you are THROUGH. We will lower our shields!
