Libya beat Mozambique 1-0 in the African Cup of Nations qualifier, its first victory since the fall of the Muammar Gaddafi regime. Twitter is buzzing with joy as Libyans taste their first win for a free Libya.

Several bloggers reported new demonstrations in Tabriz and Urmia in Iran's Azarbaijan's region on Saturday to call on Iran government to save dying Urmia Lake.
Kazakhstan: Bloggers Denounce Repeated Blockage of LiveJournal
On August 19, 2011, the largest Russophone blogging platform LiveJournal was blocked in Kazakhstan, less than a year after access to it was re-opened in fall of 2010. This intrusion of the state into virtual life, has stirred up the blogosphere.
Angola: Personalized video call to protest
A number of political activists made a video call to protest against lack of freedom in Angola for today, September 3. The “32 [years] is a lot” video shows faces and names, unlike March's protest against the government of José Eduardo dos Santos, convened anonymously on the internet.
Myanmar: Interactive Prison Map
An interactive prison map of Myanmar was created in support of the ‘Free Burma’s Video Journalists’ campaign. The map identifies the locations and gives a brief description of Myanmar’s 43 prisons. Seventeen video journalists for the Democratic Voice of Burma are currently detained.
