The “discrimination” is only in the traditional sense of the word in that there is differentiation between citizens and non-citizens when applying for a credit card.
But if you read his post, Patrick ridiculously claims *racial prejudice*. Sure, foreigners have a hard time getting a credit card, but that’s true whatever your skin color.

It’s not hard to get a credit card at all. What are you talking about? They’re handing them out like candy. I had two when I was a teenager in university. In Taiwan, banks normally look at the “foreigner” and then turn them down before even checking on their employment, background, ID, etc. How are they making the assessment? Racial difference which they can see.
