    A friend has commented in support of the Delhi Metro Rail on the post that bringing modernity to India is a must. I do agree. But bringing modernity for the luxuries of a few at cost to the masses is no wisdom. For gross national happiness, uniformity of development and individual economies is a must.

    Absolutely. All forms of development which result in even the minutest element of inequality must be opposed by the intellegensia, who of course are the ultimate arbiters of what is good for the masses.

    My country treats the masses on a much more equal basis and gives no quarter to the bourgeoise capitalist running dogs.
