O interessante é que as pessoas muitas vezes usam blogs para aumentar a conscientização sobre um tema ou problemas pontuais que estão enfrentando e que, apesar de que blogar por uma mudança política não é o foco desses blogueiros, seus blogs lhes permite dar voz a seus sonhos, esperanças e perspectivas nos mais diferentes tópicos em diferentes momentos de suas vidas. Para a ampla discussão acerca das mudanças climáticas, é significativa a contribuição dos blogs e das tecnologias de comunicação.
