It would be interesting to know where the population has increased, too. Population is so political in Cambodia, in my opinion, because of the concerns over immigration from Vietnam, the issues of poverty and the feeling by some that there needs to be a greater numbers of Cambodians to counter their giant neighbors in Vietnam and Thailand. It is heartening to read about increasing literacy rates, though.
