Summing up and interpreting what bloggers write on different topics is an attempt “to aggregate, curate, and amplify the global conversation online.” It is not a matter of either antagonism or protagonism for any specific cause. As for the piece above, I can only account for what bloggers – both those referred to and those not – write and contextualise them as regards the blogosphere and – to some extent – societal discourse.

Concerning this specific piece, it is largely an assortment of blogger reactions I believe are representative for what has been said in the Russian blogosphere on the Estemirova murder since the news became public last Wednesday.

As for Putin’s and Medvedev’s respective characters, this is, I believe, not the right forum to raise one’s opinion on the matter – as opposed to e.g. my own blog on regional politics and security.
