China: Omitting the Uyghur grievances

Will from imagethief pointed out that in order to solve the ethnic conflict, it is necessary for the Chinese government to reflect upon a national myth-making apparatus that allows no room whatsoever for the acknowledgment of Uighur grievances.

    Well, just as a comparison – our media at large is currently focusing on the ETA bombing, not the “oppressed” Basque minority’s “legitmate grievances”, or otherwise insinuating the violence is justifiable or understandable.

    So why should it be any different when it comes to China?
