Lawyer Le Cong Dinh is prominent for his activities supporting and promoting democracy and human rights in Vietnam. He was arrested by the Vietnamese government according to controversial evidences against him.

Mr. Le has protected other prominent human rights lawyers such as Nguyen Van Dai and Le Thi Cong Nhan who are put in jail just because of their activities for protecting from the abuse of human rights by the government, a total authoritarian regime under the Vietnamese communists.

It is well known that firewalls have been set up by the Vietnamese government to censor Internet access to pro-democracy and freedom websites.
