Until that time comes, we should tackle immigration together rather than condoning it and crying foul when countries try to make a stand. It should be tackled by both ends.. i.e. Host country trying to do more to manage its people from having to resort to illegal settlement and the target countries who are suffering with the problem. We will also always have these issues so long as there are more developed CARICOM nations over others... So CARICOM needs to look into why some of these other countries are being 'left behind' Maybe one day we will be in a position where we can have free movement between CARICOM countries like there is with the EU.

Until that time comes, we should tackle immigration together rather than condoning it and crying foul when countries try to make a stand. I understand why people would want to live in Barbados but, living anywhere illegally puts you on the wrong side of the law, and basically distorts your rights in all types of situations.
