Please, like this girl stands a chance. The Chinese police will do as always: trash the girl’s reputation, let her disappear from the public eye by waiting a few weeks/months, and then quietly hold a closed trial and sentence her to death.

There’s only one thing China’s Communist government is good at, and that’s protecting their own.

Bravo to your article. But may I suggest that you have somehow mixed up chastity and virginity, and should correct it? Ms Deng is defending her dignity as a human being who has every right to resist any assault and insult against her own body. The same right applies to all human beings, male or female, and regardless of his/her sexual orientation, experience or whatsoever.

Meanwhile. heavens knows what would be happening to Ms Deng right now in that \mental institution\. Female inmates are often sexually abused in such environments … I am so worried about her.
