China: Animation industy and Ultraman
China
Premier Wen Jiabo's comment on Ultraman has traveled to Japan as “Destroy Japanese Anime“, there were more than 200 comments showing disagreeable faces :|||. I have also written a post at GV advocacy on recent control on multimedia content in the Internet in China and the netizens call for boycotting Ultraman.

You should note that that post on “Sankaku Complex” is at a blog done by foreign fans of Japanese animation for foreign fans of Japanese animation. The original Japanese story (http://www.recordchina.co.jp/group/g30159.html) did not have any such comments, nor did it mention anything about “destroy Japanese anime”. Translated comments from Chinese netizens (seems to have been via a Taiwanese paper) included in the actual Japanese report (intended for Japanese people, not for foreigners who enjoy Japanese animations) were: “Ultraman is Japanese; this is nothing but a fight. Are there no more Chinese who can do animation?” “Kill Japan’s Ultraman.”
