Last week, 谭作人,a volunteer of Sichuan earthquake relief, and a champion of envirenmental protection, was taken away by police from his own home in Sichuan University.Tan is also a pal of Ai wei wei 艾未未.
The police took him for several reasons:like Ai wei wei Tan organized the names collection of the children who died in Beichuan earthquake due to the shoddy or bean dreg 豆腐渣construction, and he have been probing Pengzhou彭州large-scale chemical project since its very beginning, reports its COD,NH3-N contains so high above standard, will render serious poisonous pollution to Tuojiang river, not at least to say its air pollution in Chengdu sky. Tan's apprehension have already caused a wide reaction among bloggers on online website. So many comments popping out, people think that if Tan is charged by the name of subvertion of state power,we may jump to a conclution that this regime is trying hard to cover corruption and breach of envirenmental protection. If that's true, this regime is the public enemy of earthbeings.

Original Chinese "我在那次灾难中没有伸出手，我实在感到无力。"

Correct translation "I did not reach out my hands during that disastor, I felt really weak."

Beautified here "I had not given much help in the disaster, I felt so weak and helpless then."

Different eh?

Well, I felt weak and painful half a work away during the quake. I reached out my humble hand with my money. I did not try to know victims' names, I started to work harder so that next time similar disastor happens in the world I can give more money of my own.

We are different, it seems.
Hope this survives the moderation
