Very good job, congratulation. I'm a malagasy living in Tana.
Yes it's true, Malagasy problem is Malagasy itself. As a matter of fact, our far far ancestors were people of deep sense of community, anihilating the individual and its right to act and think differently: to change.
Another fact: Malagasy forget and forgive easily. Error of the past occurs every other decade, still Malagasy is unable to retain lessons from the past to change the future.
These are not-so bad thing at first sight, but well, may be these are Malagasy REAL PROBLEMS.
Change is a for us an impossible thing, dangerous for leaders and tedious for the people, WHO WANNA SACRIFICE?

The Malagasy are their only natural enemy. After having given away their country to the French in 1895 and sort of regaining control in 1960 they have refused to accept the outside world as potential benefactors. They accept aid but not growth. People don't like Ravolmanana for good reason, but hitching on to the back of Andry XDJ's train isn't going to help Madagascar at all. It will only ensure that the country's future looks pretty much like it's past.

Can you reach out to the unleashed groups? Who can reach out to someone who thinks that he got the support of the UN, the United States, and France? Who at this point can reach out to a mad crowd?
Madagascar got its own terrorist! How many still are capable of rationality in Madagascar?
