		<description>the palestinians are descended from those arabs who moved closer to the jewish settlements because they had the vision of a better, middle class life for them and their descendants in a western style economy. the effect of the israeli/palestinian split is to break what would have been the dominant political-economic force in the area into two factions with a death grip on each other&#039;s throat. which is exactly what the other arab nations intended.</description>
